“Key Lime Inn So Sweet!”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Stayed at the Key Lime Inn on August 12 and 13, 2014. Stayed in room 17 (set up like a little cottage). The Inn was so nice. The room was neat and clean. Micheall and Claudine were so helpful. The Inn is right in town so you can park and walk every where. The breakfast was just enough in the morning. We will come back! So lovely!

Room Tip: We had a room away from the pool area and it was very quiet!

Our second visit to Key Lime Inn was a great experience....again. I would not hesitate recommending the Key Lime Inn to anyone who is planning a visit to Key West Florida. Convenient location (2 blocks from Duval St), the staff is great, and the pool is a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. We can't wait for our next visit!

Spent three night in this wonderful place for our second anniversary and can only rave about it. We had a beautiful room with a private balcony, nicely and tastefully decorated, very quaint and very quiet. The staff was amazing, extremely kind and accommodative, and I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Daniele and Claudine who handled a problem with had (Cable TV) we the best efficiency as possible. They both did everything they could to have the problem solve in the most timely manner, and even went out of their way to offer us a bottle of prosecco for the inconvenience. We really appreciated this kind gesture way above the little inconvenience we could have had, and we tasted it on "our" private balcony on our anniversary evening.
The Inn is perfectly located, walking distance from Duval and all the Bars and Restaurant, we will definitely go back and request the same room if possible.
Thanks to all the team of Key Lime Inn for making our stay very special.

5 minute walk from Duval street. Pool was nice and clean. However it closed earlier then we would have wanted. Continental breakfast was nothing special, very simple-muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. The room was very clean and cozy. Private porch was a nice touch to the room. Good place for a 2 night getaway in Key West.

wow...the room was amazing --- we were in a queen room - it was in one of the cottages that had 2 rooms...it was sooo comfortable! very spacious and modern. We parked the car and were able to walk comfortably everywhere --- the 2 for 1 drinks at Lighthouse Inn (a sister resort) were Very Yummy!!! The pool was warm and enjoyable also. The staff was awesome. We will absolutely stay here again!

My family and I stayed here in early August 2014 and LOVED it. The quaint 'cottages' are well-kept, nicely decorated and have all the amenities we needed. The continental breakfast was what you would expect and the pool area is perfectly positioned for the right amount of sun and shade.

We plan on staying here again on our next visit to the Keys and I highly recommend it!

I am very happy my wife selected this hotel for us to stay at. I was hesitant at first because it was not a chain-named hotel. Well, I had my eyes opened. This is one of the Historic Inns of Key West.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was so kind, warm and friendly. Melissa was awesome. She answered my multitude of questions on many occasions and never lost that amazing smile of hers while doing so. My second shout out has to go to Clement. He could not have been any nicer and helpful to my wife and I. He is a true gentleman and an incredible worker. This hotel is VERY fortunate to have staff like Clement and Melissa.
This hotel is very quiet. Each reservation gets their own villa-like place to stay. The pool was clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The location was great. Duval Street, where everything happens in Key West is approximately 4 blocks away. You can easily walk to it and then up and down Duvall if you are up for a walk. If not, get a Trolley Pass for mid $30's, which will allow you to hop on and off the Trolley for 2 days, and travels around the entire island of Key West.
The price was very reasonable, especially when you price check many of the other hotels in the area. Oh yeah...and there is a decent continental breakfast in the morning., If that is not good enough, walk a few blocks to Denny's. :-) But, the hotel breakfast should be just fine. Thanks to the staff who set that up and took care of us every morning.
Parking was a bit tough but once we found a spot on the property, we left the vehicle and just did everything via foot, trolley and moped (the true Key West experience).
Lastly, end your night with the sunset in the square. After that, begin your short hike back to the hotel via Duval street and see the place come to life at night right before you put your head down for a comfy night of rest at this wonderful hotel.
Last shout out again to Melissa and Clement...you both rock! Thanks for making our vacation even more special. The sights are great but life is truly about the people we encounter along the journey.

Room Tip: We had the rooms right outside where there breakfast is held. It was a great location to the pool...
