“Pretty cool piece of history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

This was a really cool piece of history of Key West. The view from the top of the lighthouse was fantastic and the plaques were very informative. The keepers quarters was interesting and provided more local history of Key West. Pretty cool piece of history.

“Bit pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

Nice to see and the views are amazing, however, it's quite pricey for what it is. Has a small museum which we couldn't get in and has a lovely little gift shop. If you have a spare half hour or so and want a great view and learn a little history then worth a stop.

“Don't miss this!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Make sure to climb the lighthouse and take a look at the history of Key West and the present through its windows. The gatekeepers house has a lot of wonderful history in it and it's great if you are also in the middle of one of the typical Florida rainstorms. The gift shop has lots of cute little items in it and the exhibit is free for military. It's directly across from the Hemingway house so don't pass it up when visiting!

“Great view from the top”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

We enjoyed the panoramic view from the top of the tower. Was a fairly quick trip as the museum doesn't take long to walk through.

“Great view of the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

This is one of those places you need to see at least once when in Key West. the view from the top is wonderful as you can see the whole city from there. The Keeper's Qtrs was a lesson in history of Key West and the dedication of the keepers and their families
