Owner description: See the best of Key West on the tour that has been entertaining visitors since 1958. Our expert 'engineers' and friendly staff have delighted guests with the legends and tales of Ernest Hemingway, and Tennessee Williams and the stories of the pirates, Indians, wreckers and artists who called this island home. 90 minutes and over 100 points of interest. No Key West vacation is complete without the world famous Conch Tour Train.

I have always been a little skeptical of this type of tour but this was actually one of my favorite things we did while in the Keys. The tour guide Wilson did a great job pointing out the attractions/giving history and even adding a little humor along the way. There aren't a lot of stops but it gave us plenty of ideas of things to do later. An added plus is that we got free admission to the Hemingway Rum Distillery Tour for later.

I have ridden this train numerous times when company comes to visit. It’s a great way to see more than Duval Street if you are there for a short time. My last trip was a part of local’s month and riding the train was the highlight for our children. They could have cared less about the cool history being shared; they simply loved being on the train. When I have company, we will again ride the train to see more than just the bars and tourists shops of Duval. If you are looking for actual transportation, use the Duval Loop. I would like to add that TJ was our last driver and he was really sweet to our kids. He reminded all of us to remain semi quiet so that people could hear the audio tour but did so in a way that was polite, kind and the kids knew to listen to the “conductor”. Thank you TJ for a lovely tour of the city!

Narrated tour that drives all around Old Town Key West, passing lots of attractions, i.e., Southernmost Point, Key West Butterfly, Truman House, Hemingway House, Kermits Key Lime Pie stores, wharf, etc. There is alot to see in Key West and a lot of walking involved in the heat. I would have liked this train better if it had more stops. It doesn't stop at most of the attractions I wanted to see.

Fifth time in Key West and we have done a whole lot of activities and seen a lot. We had friends that did not want to bike ride in the heat, they don't scuba dive or enjoy Hemingway history, shopping, etc. The conch train fit in perfectly as it too our group to many of the sights on the island and we learned a little of this and that in the process. Very glad we did the Conch Train!

The tour is divided in two parts, they have a short break so you can go into a store and go to the toilet and buy water/drinks. I felt that the tour was too long and should have ended when the break was. Also the tour was too expensive.

The first part of the tour was informative. The guide was however trying too hard to be funny and that did not work at all.

A few small things to fix such as the length and the script for the guide and then the tour would be excellent.
