“Great vacation!”

Delightful spot, conveniently located. We enjoyed the historical nature of it, as well. Tasty breakfast, which we enjoyed sitting around the pool on the patio. Would definitely return for another stay.

Got reservations here last minute and did not regret it. Overall, there are 2 vintage homes and another building that offer a variety of rooms. Both of the houses were roomy and nicely decorated but distinctly different. We ended up in the large, 1-bedroom suite in the rear of the second house. It had a full kitchen (which we did not use), a small bathroom and living room and a large bedroom with a queen-size bed. The suite also has a large covered porch with a nice sitting area that overlooks the backyard. There's also a small brick BBQ that can be used. Overall, the Conch House was absolutely charming.

A continental breakfast was available each morning starting at 8:30, offering homemade banana bread, hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, fresh fruit, juices, mimosas, and really good coffee.

Bicycles are available to borrow and we used them our third day to go visit a few more places in the historic district. There is also a very nice swimming pool on site.

The hosts were great...friendly and helpful. They provided good suggestions for things to do and places to see. The location is great and only a few blocks from Duval Street. Great location for those who want to walk to all there is to see and do.

We'd definately stay here again.

The Inn was everything expected it to be. Felt like was in old time Key West. Sam did a wonderful job of restoring and modernizing this family treasure. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The only complaint about the room was the water preasure but in Key West isn't everything slow? Loved the porches, great to watch the world go by late in the evening. The whole staff was extremely friendly and very helpful in providing advice. Breakfast is great if you are satisfied with continental. If you are looking for eggs and more you need to eat out. Great place to have breakfast is Croisants de France on Duval. We had to leave earlier than breakfast was served and they actually gave us food to take with us the afternoon before we left including muffins, banana bread and pineapple. Better than stopping on the road. Location perfect for walking anywhere you want to go or rent one of their bikes. Thanks Guys we totally enjoyed it.

just finished 4 days in Key West at the Conch House. We stayed in the suite(Delaney) which has a kitchenette, but also a private back yard and veranda. Very nice. The B+B has a wonderful common area, fitting the old world style. But it also has a pool area to lounge around. Our room and back yard, however, was completely seperate, so you can escape to be even more alone. Never felt crowded in the common areas. Don't expect a big breakfast and no table to sit around. Mostly continenal breakfast, and then sitting on the wicker chairs and small tables. There is a dining room table, but no one was using it. Plan on a restaurant if you want a big brakfast. Staff was terrific, and attentive. No evening staff but available by phone for emergency. We will definitely go backI The location is convenient on one end of Duval. Although on the main drag on Truman Ave, we heard no road noise. They have bicycles to ride around town, WiFi and televisions for the full service needs. We did a naturalist Kayak tour with "Blue Planet" A true highlight to see all kinds of sealife that the guide pulls out of the water for you to see, do the sunset tour, includes sifting through mangroves and seeing sea life at night! Go! enjoy and Sam and his staff will add to the experience.

Room Tip: pool rooms are probable quiet too. Not sure about the 2 rooms next to the Delaney suite

Sam, Ammie & Hilary were just great to everyone! The place is so clean and close to Duval. They recommended the 7 fish restaurant and it was the best dining experience ever. We enjoyed the continental breakfast & fresh coffee every morning & the company of other good guests. If you are looking for a good place to stay & great value this is it!!

Room Tip: We had the Veranda room with a balcony overlooking the street & we will do it again.
