We've been to Key West over 10 times and stayed here the last 4 times. We will never stay any other place. Hillary and Sam are the best hosts and the rooms are immaculate. The pool is lovely and breakfast is best deal in town. Truly I love this place!

My wife and I only stay at B&B's, boutique hotels when we travel to Key West. This past July 4, 2014 marked our 18th trip to Key West in the last 26 months so we know what we like and what we dont. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted and shown around the grounds. We stayed in the Hemingway suite which is located in the little house adjacent to the main house. We could not have been happier with the room. Plenty of space for the two of us, huge vanity with double his/her sinks, but the real stopper here is the size of the walk in shower with 3 different shower heads, massage nozzles, etc. The room itself was very clean. The only negative I had is that the TV did not work at all. This is normally no big deal because who goes to KW to watch TV? But I would have liked to watch the World Cup while she was getting ready. But again, not a big deal considering everything else this place had to offer. Of all the B&B's I have stayed at, the Conch House had the best breakfast (as far as B&B continental breakfasts go) Cereal, hard boiled eggs, quiche and of course the complimentary mimosa. We were able to use the pool at any time of the evening as long as you are courteous to the other guests. Everything about the Conch House was just perfect and we cannot wait to book again upon our return in October for Goombay!

Will definitely add to your quiet getaway to Key West! This place is charming, the staff super friendly, the rooms amazing and unique, definitely not your typical generic chain hotel. It is very close walking distance to Duval St. without being in the middle of any noise or bustle at all.

We place our booking according to the pictures & reviews, but the pictures don't do Conch house justice. It exceeded our expectations in all aspects, from cleanliness to hospitality. We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days. Amy greeted us like old friends and when we left we felt like family. Amy is the heart beat of the Conch house.(she does it all & does in well). The continental breakfast was great, the coffee was wicked good! We love the location, close enough to walk everywhere and still very quite and private. We loved it so much we booked another week next year!

Room Tip: they are all nice

We booked the Caribbean room for our stay from 7/4-7/7. We arrived before the 3pm check-in time, but were warmly welcomed into this beautiful oasis. Our room was bright, and nicely appointed, with a large bathroom area. We found our bed comfortable. The premises are kept immaculate. Our breakfasts were more than we expected, cereals, breads, muffins, hard boiled eggs and fruit...not to mention the delicious mini quiches. We also had a choice of juices or a mimosa.
The Conch House is centrally located....we walked to the Southernmost point and to Mallory Square. One last thing; although the Conch House is situated on a busy street, it is extremely quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Conch House and will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the Veranda room and it's was nice size and cozy! The staff were very attentive and sweet. It's like your home way from home. Pool was perfect and the location was close enough to Duval. We would definitely return. The drive from Miami is a lot longer than the 3 1/2 hours more like 5 due to the speed limit but it's a nice peaceful ride.
