We took the 27-mile Island Tour departing from Casa Marina in later November. There was quite a bit of wind, so we went Stayed on the Atlantic side of the island and went North towards the Naval training area. The tour was excellent. The group was about 8 people with mixed boating experience. Two guides escorted the group: one in front and one in back. The lead guide ran 3/4 to full throttle most of the trip so long as people were keeping up. The lag guide kept everyone who wanted to go lower on track for the duration of the tour. I really liked their way of leading the tour because everyone was able to go at their own comfortable pace. We got a great tour of the island as well as few history and biology facts along the way. The best part was going through some of the mangrove forests at 20-30 mph. The guides stayed in the middle of the channel so everyone could just stay in the center of the wake and follow. Excellent tour and a very good value!
