The hotel is just far enough from downtown to be nice and quiet - but close enough to walk to the action on Duval St. Go to the Sunset Bar - there are fantastic views. The hotel is very clean - the staff is great!

Squashed onto a plot right on the beach. Parking is $20 per night. Room was adequate and all are accessed from external corridors. Felt very impersonal.
Walking distance to the southern most point in the USA.
Walking along Duval street, the 'main street' was an experience in itself-pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc coexist alongside gentleman's clubs and cruise ship docks.
Having dinner on the pier at Mallory Square watching the sunset was a memorable experience.
Once the sun has set, the whole place takes on another life!

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The location is nice, and it sounds like it's the only hotel with some type of a beach. Of course Key West is not really a beach destination, so don't get your hopes up. We were there in August, and the beach was covered with sea weed so it was not very pleasant to enter the water.

The hotel itself is your typical hotel room. The best thing about the room was a coffee maker that was good. The parking is pretty expensive at the hotel, but there aren't really any good options.

We stayed at The Reach in Key West for our 5th wedding anniversary. It was great. The room was overlooking the ocean. It was clean and comfortable. The pool was great. The staff was awesome. We would go back in a second.

If you expect the service and cleanliness of an upscale resort, as we did, don't waste your money. Roach in the Bar, torn shear drape in suite, carpet appeared older and somewhat dirty. The Room Service staff are rude. 18% tip is automatically charged to your bill for anything you order from the restaurant be it Room Service, pool drinks or lunch. Housekeeping leaves piles of dirty towels in hallway all day longl

We booked this hotel as a last minute option.
The hotels location is good and the small private beach area and pool area is really nice and relaxing.

The room was spacious, but the decor was a bit outdated, didnt feel like a welcoming room. We got a room with the sleeper sofa and the sheets were already on top of the mattress, so we could just make our own bed and not wait for the hotel staff. But there was no proper duvet for the extra bed, only a thin comforter.

All the rooms have a nespresso machine, which is really nice. Only issue with our stay was, that when we got to the room, the machine was not there and it took me 3 phone calls to guest services to actually get it.

We never ate at the restaurant, because the smell of mold and mildew was not very pleasant and the prices were a bit too high.
Breakfast was about 28 per person - also not very inviting price to eat, specially if i dont eat that much for breakfast.

Overall, i was expecting much more from a resort and the money paid.

Our first visit to Key West and will not be our last! This hotel was wonderful. In a quiet area at the south end of the island just off of Duvall and within walking distance of all the wildness and fun further north on Duvall. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were cozy and the pool area and beach were great! The concierge service was perfect, helping us plan numerous activities and dinners that were exactly what we wanted and exactly what they described!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that has a view of the water if you are not staying oceanfront. The hotel is built s...
