Clean/comfortable; no dresser or drawers to unpack suitcase. Very small television screen. Only one restaurant on site. Silly us, as we thought the 'Strip Club' referred to strip steaks. Walls covered in retro nudies (caution to young families). Bar was very dark at night. Our late night dinner was excellent - highly recommend the lobster bisque which was served with a dollop of sour cream and large lump of claw meat. Breakfast buffet a bit overpriced. Note that the buffet bill includes your gratuity. A/C in room worked well - which was great as very hot during our stay. Enjoyed 'drink of the day'. Would stay here again, as one of the few properties with a real beach in reasonable walking distance to main Duval areas. Recommend the eggs benedict at LaTeDa!

Was very pleased with this hotel. After a rough start getting the room I ordered with an ocean view, everything was fine. Staff was pleasant and the hotel was a nice place to relax. Beach is small but it is private and it has it's own pier.
Location is good and you can get to where you want to go quickly. Parking can be a bit challenging as parking is located under the hotel and the stalls are cramped and quite small. If it rains, be prepared to walk through numerous water puddles.
One word of warning, the buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant (The Strip House) is $25 and not very good.

Not sure if I would stay again, paid less for a room with better service and view. Check in was lengthy, check out was not accommodating. Parking garage was horrible. The pool and watersport area made up for where the hotel staff slacked. The pool table only had one stick and it was broken and they are not set up for when it rains.

The hotel was not as nice as we expected and had previously heard. The check-in process was completely ridiculous. We asked for an early check-in, only to be left waiting for approximately 2 hours (even past the standard check-in time) for a room. There was no apologize or acknowledgement for the inconvenience. Our bill at check out was almost $200 more than we had signed up for. Had my wife not had our itinerary I don't believe they would have honored our rate (which was nearly $500 w/taxes and other fees for one night).

My wife and I stayed her for our honeymoon. From the minute we stepped Samantha at the front desk set the mood for great customer service. Also Cameron out at the beach/pool was great too. From the frozen towels to the towel service offered twice daily the customer service was exemplary. They have a great private beach there too. It is located on the less busy and quieter side of Duval St but still close to everything.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days, and it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in in a while. The entire staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and spacious and you wake up to a daily newspaper on your door. When you wake up, you can walk out and relax near the pool or on the beach, which is the only natural beach in Key West. The staff on the beach, Josh, Kris and Cameron, were extremely helpful when we needed towels, chairs, an umbrella or any questions answered. They even give out cold cucumbers for your eyes for when you want to feel even more relaxed. And for excitement, entertainment and food, Duval Street is only a block away so you don't have to drive to get to where the fun and food is. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely be staying there again when I go back.

My husband and I were guests at The Reach for our Honeymoon/Anniversary. What a fabulous choice we made! From pre-arrival to departure, everyone we met and everything we experienced was absolutely wonderful. The entire staff was very personable, polite, informative and helpful. The resort was one of natural beauty and luxury. I felt like I had landed in a "paradise-on-earth." We highly recommend The Reach and look forward to the time when we can once again be welcomed as guests at The Reach/Waldorf Astoria in Key West, FL!
