“Worth the money”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

As keen travellers we were not sure about paying a little extra for this hotel but the location was perfect for what we wanted. We were very pleased indeed and fell in love with this charming ' boutique ' style key west hotel. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much . A truly peaceful and charming hotel . We had the standard room. Bed cosy but for one night perfect. The pool and gardens are a delight but do be aware of the very poor lighting going down the stairs. Would defo go back again.

Room Tip: Up grade to a larger room possibly !

What a quaint romantic little place!

My wonderful BF and I spent our one-year anniversary in Key West and stayed at Eden House. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was clean, neat, and smelled amazing. Our room had a nice hammock/swing on the balcony which was a really romantic touch. Wish we would have had more time to spend on it.

The only thing I would change is that I wish they had white towels in the bathroom instead of brown ones. Other than that tiny change everything is perfect :-)

Stayed here only one night and all of us were welcomed with a complimentary beverage - beer or soda and the most personable staff we've ever encountered. A big thanks to Kayla, Fritzie and Amberlynn for your gracious hospitality. Fred the maintenance guy gave us great advice for places to eat. Mangia Mangia down the street was the best Italian food ever. And, the Azur Restaurant onsite makes a fabulous breakfast. If you're seeking a relaxing, tropical paradise with complimentary (yes, FREE!) beverages pool side for happy hour, this is the place. Enough distance away from Duval to be peacefully restful, yet close enough to walk to sightsee and get your crazy on. Make sure you take advantage of the Rewards card they offer, because I trust you'll be back!

Stayed here with my wife over the weekend for a first time weekend trip to Key West. The staff was courteous, and the hotel was clean and in great shape. We were led through the various patios to our very quiet and cozy room in the back. This place couldn't have been better. Walking distance to all major areas of interest in Key West.

We had two rooms at this hotel, both were lovely, although a little small. We were only staying one night but that might have become more annoying if we had stayed for longer. However, the rooms were charming and immaculately clean, and bed really comfortable. The greeting on arrival with a cold drink was very welcome and happy hour with free wine and beer near to the pool was another lovely touch! The hotel is quirky and just simply gorgeous! It is far enough away from Duval to ensure a peaceful night but near enough that you can walk there in 10 minutes. Perfect!

We love this place! They greeted us with a beer when we checked in! Upgraded us with a smile! 4-5 happy hour at the pool, free wine and liquor! And every friendly! About 5 blocks from Duval but the peace and quiet is worth it!! Slept so well every night!! Room was a great price as well!

My boyfriend and I went to Key West in June for his birthday. I chose the Eden House because of good reviews and good price. When we walked in the pool area it was like a private paradise. The staff was friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. We were too busy to really enjoy the hotel but are planning to go back. The room was small (typical of a historic hotel) but clean and beautiful. I worked at a hotel for over seven years so I tend to look for the little things that make the hotel great. They were all there at Eden House. Can't wait to go back!

Relax In Old Town Key West! The Eden House's first priority has been to maintain a clean inn, offer a comfortable bed, reasonable rates and have a staff that cares. Next comes the heated pool and Jacuzzi, hammocks, porch swings, waterfalls, sundeck, free off-street parking, café and lush gardens. We will have a cold drink for you at check-in and our daily complimentary 'happy hour' is poolside. Then at 10 PM we will dim the lights and let you get a good nights rest. Our night staff will not put a mint on your pillow but they will walk the grounds to insure that you won't be disturbed. I have owned and managed the Eden House for 27 years. I like to think that my staff and me do the 'little' things that will make your stay in Key West a memorable one. Key West is notorious for it's nightlife. Whether it is a sunset sail, a snorkel or kayak trip or deep water and flats fishing, the waters of the Florida Keys are like no other. Just let us know when you want to go.Grab a good book and a drink and I'll see you in the hammock area. ... more   less
