The people working at the hotel were very nice, but overworked. The person checking you in is the only employee there. Therefore you have to wait if someone else needs attention. The happy hour was nice, but again we had to wait for the only employee to finish checking in people. We had a dirty rug when we checked in. The one employee eventually made it to the room and confirmed that the rug was dirty. This person came back later and tried to unsuccessfully clean the rug. The people working there were nice, but they need more people on duty.

Room Tip: We stated in Room 116. Noise from the people upstairs was bothersome. The patio for this room is l...

On our recent trip to Key West, we had made reservations online for a 3 night stay at Almond Tree Inn. This is our 1st stay, hopefully 1st of many. I'd like to say thanks to Bill, Shea, Shawn and Cindy for an awesome time spent at Almond Tree Inn. Their service was great, we were treated very good. Bill had our stay upgraded from one room to a suite; we will definitely stay here again. Location was great, just off Duval street...never heard noise from activities on either Duval or Truman.

We only stayed one night in this hotel but we would definitely go back. The staff was very kind and friendly. It is located near Duval Street but it's very quiet. We had a free drink when we arrived and the breakfast was great. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

My wife and I arrived in Key West late in the evening. The concierge, Shawn, greeted us with such a friendly welcome, we knew we were going to enjoy staying here. The hotel is half a block from the main drag (Duvall), but we were never disturbed by noise. The room was large and comfortable, with really beautiful artwork on the walls. The bathroom was modern, with a two head shower. The bed was large and comfortable.

The outdoor are had a really comfortable pool The continental breakfast was large, with plenty of variety. The citrus or cucumber water was refreshing. Whenever I needed suggestions, or help with reservations we received them, with authentic concern that we would be happy with the results. When I return to Key West, I would definitely make reservations there again.
We stayed during the week.

Room Tip: My wife and I stayed in room 104 The room was quiet and pleasant. There was no noise from the pool.

Like many other reviewers, my husband and I loved this hotel. Bill, Shea and Sean were wonderful hosts. The rooms are small but furnished to perfection. Pool and hot tub along with the KOI pond was great for relaxing. The proximity to Duval Street made all the Key West "attractions" within easy walking distance. We did not use our car until we drove out at the end of the stay. We were there over the holidays and the lights and decorations made the stay even more joyful.

Can't find anything bad to say about this place. If you want a giant room, this is not the place to be; but you will love it if you stay.

We stayed at Almond Tree Hotel for four nights over the Christmas holiday and we loved it.

The location is great, right next to Duval Street, but just tucked away enough from the noise at night.

Our room was fantastic, immaculately clean with beautiful furnishings. The large bed was like sleeping on a cloud, heavenly!

All the staff we met were fantastic, very professional, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Sean/Shaun, who was great and nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel had been decorated out with Christmas lights and Christmas tree, and it was beautifully and tastefully done.

The inclusive continental breakfast was fabulous too, and we were looked after extremely well by Cindy and a young gentleman (sorry, didn't ask for name), who kept the breakfast area well stocked and tidy, and made breakfast a very enjoyable experience. It was a good way to meet other guests for an informal chat.

Pool area was nice and very clean, pool towels are placed on every lounger and used towels were constantly being taken away and replaced with freshly laundered ones. The chilled, cucumber flavoured water was a nice touch, available all day.

We would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were first class, and the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel is second to none.

Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 104, right next to pool on ground floor, with no upper floor. Very nice.

This hotel has all the amenities, great rooms and all the little things to make a perfect stay in Key West. Just a block off Duval, the location is perfect as well. The staff was friendly and provided as much guidance on attractions or restaurants as you wish.

I would definitely stay here again...and isn't that the most important fact?
