This was our 4th visit to Key West - 3rd time at The Garden House. What we love most are the people we meet there - people who know how to relax and have a good time. And of course, you can't beat their location - we walked everywhere! We spent a lot of time at the Waterfront - the live bands add so much to the holiday atmosphere.

We reserved three rooms. At almost $250 a nite for a two nite stay we were quite disappointed. Very run down rooms. More like a rooming house than a b&b. bare bones continental breakfast. Happy hour was a bottle of wine that was taken away promptly at 6PM I arrived one nite at 6:01 and asked if the wine could be brought back so the six of us could have a drink before dinner. "Sorry it's only until 6"
There is nothing homey about this "B@B"

Once removed from Duval Street but great central location for being in the old town.

Great pool area to relax or catch up with the outside world on free wi-fi with free breakfast and free happy hour.

Bike rentals on property if you wanted to explore further.....

This was a really great place to stay for our trip to Key West. Everyone we encountered who worked there was very pleasant and really friendly. They make you feel very welcome. The location is very good and if you like walking, as we do, you can get most of the places you want to go within 10-20 minutes of walking (or a very short drive).

The pool area and deck are really nice. While the pool is small, it is a beautiful little place to relax with palm trees overhead and friendly folks around. The deck is a wonderful place to just kick back and relax after a day of wandering around town.

The rooms are a bit basic and nothing fancy so if you are looking for a luxurious location this is not it, but it has everything you need, is clean and was plenty spacious. If I ever make it back to Key West I'm pretty sure I'll come back here.

We spent this past weekend at the Garden House B&B, which is located on a lovely quiet street in Old Town, but right in the heart of all of our favorite spots in Key West, like B.O's, Paseo, Schooner's Wharf and Cuban Coffee Queen. It was an easy to walk to the marina and Duval Street. My favorite part was walking around the neighborhood and seeing all of the wonderful architecture in the area.

The staff was great. When I had to call a month prior to our trip to inform them that I had broken my leg and couldn't climb the stairs to our booked room, they called other guests on the ground floor to see if they could switch. One couple did switch rooms with us, so we were able to still come to Key West, albeit on crutches and a wheelchair.

The other guests were very nice and sociable. We enjoyed their company during the morning breakfast and afternoon happy hour, which was right outside our door on the pool deck. People were respectful of others regarding noise in the evening.

We had the Gecko room, which was a small queen room that had the basic amenities. It was a good value, compared to other places in Key West. It was clean, and provided us with the perfect crash pad, since we spent most of our time outside tooling around the island.

If you are a late sleeper, I would recommend earplugs; the breakfast is served around 8'ish, and people are on the deck just outside your room.

All in all, we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend this inn for budget minded folks looking to be close to everything, but still wanting some quiet, as well.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep in, you may want to have a room away from the pool deck.

Lovely B&B, bigger than I thought as they have 11 rooms. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff couldn't do enough for you, booking trips and resturants. The room was nice and cosy, with a good big comfy bed, we had our own patio on the side too. Lovely continental breakfast by the pool in the morning, and happy hour from 5 in the evening. Would definately recommended it to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Key west as it is only two blocks from Duval Street, but on a nice quiet road. Parking in the church carpark for a small fee is a great additional bonus.

Hubbie and I stayed at the Garden House in October and had a GREAT time! Perfect place to kick back and let the good times roll. We met new friends, crawled Duval, and relaxed with a glass of wine in the cozy lagoon pool. Only a two day stay (couldn't get room for Fantasy Fest - booked waaaay in advance). WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! XOXO
