Owner description: Tropical Gardens set in an old fort
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Admission is free- but a donation is appreciated. Walk thru the trails of this beautiful garden- see native plants and trees as well as free roaming iguanas. Relaxing and serene

This is a neat place. Very well laid out garden. Lots of variety. You'll be very impressed by the Strangler Fig inside the fort.
Price is very reasonable.

We rented Scooters and rode to the garden, there is no cost to walk though but it's nice to give a little something (Donation). The garden over looks the ocean and a variety and beautiful plants. its def worth the visit

The old fort with the gardens is very unique. It is a great place to go and visit when going to the beach in Key West.

We happened to stumble upon this delightful place. It is a fort from the civil war which the garden club has taken over and created a lovely sanctuary
