This hotel has a great location .... close to Mallory Square, shopping, dining. And an ice cream parlor just steps away. Some rooms overlook the water, some the pool -- all have Westin quality beds, linens, and amenities. Check in, check out were extremely easy -- staff delightful and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Oceanside rooms occasionally look out on cruise ships.

My sister and I stayed at The Westin Key West from May 22nd - 24th. The hotel is beautiful and is located on the waterfront. Easy check-in/check-out; friendly staff. There was a mix-up in my room at check in which the staff rectified immediately. You are steps from great restaurants/shopping - what more could you possibly want! The pool area is nice and clean. There are live performers each night at Mallory Square (next door). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you so much for your review. Sorry there was a mix up, but glad that it was handled quickly and to your satisfaction. Don't forget we have our very own Sunset Celebration with performers every night on Westin Pier as well!

I was attending a conference in Key West and stayed at this property! Our room was located in the Pool Building . We had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of trees and the pool. My room met the standards of the Westin chainl. This property is very close to Duval Street and shopping. It is also located on the water and is an easy walk to Sunset Pier for all of the activities. Cruise ships stop frequently at the pier behind the Westin .

I got the room I payed for, ocean front, good location, close to Duval & Mallory Square, cruise ships a little bit annoying , all the tourists flooding the streets...Adrian and Al Duncan, verry helpful and profesional agents, they changed our mood from upset to happy in no time...it was amazing how those people deal with our minds. Great place to stay , great location, although need a little bit of attention. I recommend it best location to stay

I am writing this review while heading back from this amazing trip to the key west while seated at 35,000 feet. What made this trip even more amazing is the Westin Key Resort. Ocean front rooms are great to have as you could see huge ocean, action packed marina and the view of sunset key island which a portion of it is owned by westin and they have their own private beach open for westin resort marina customers also. I will mention about that too in my later review.
Food - you just can't beat the taste. They have a very limited menu but whatever they make is the best of all. It would be little pricey but once you are done with the food, you would like to tip as much as you paid for the whole course meal and on top may want to kiss cook's hand. I didn't do either. Their breakfast is also great and if you are one of the lucky one on Sunday then don't miss their brunch buffet. Insane varieties and taste as said earlier, you can't beat it. In short, their breakfast, lunch and dinner, all are amazing, bit pricey but worth it.
Room ambience - pretty comfortable. Beds are nice, sheets clean, I found bed size little small in length but no big deal if you are less than 6 feet. I believe every room has a ball annoy and ones facing towards marina are just amazing. I didn't her any noise even thoug it was close to marina and big cruises dock during weekdays. May be due to their solid glass doors. Room service included two cups of Starbucks coffee and really nice toiletries.
Staff - friendly and responsive. They have concierge too who would help in setting you up with any water sports or any booking that you would like in the island.
Location - this can't be matched with anything else. Right at the tip of the island, close to every water sports, 1 mile away from famous southernmost tip of the USA spot. Walking distance to Duvall street which is like the times square of the manhattan. You will find all the bars and restaurant.
Sunset key beach - hourly private boat to their private beach which is just 15 minutes away. Latitude restaurant in the beach is great, awesome food and great drinks. Beach is little rocky but key west is not famous for beaches anyway. But still you can sit by and have tropical drinks and feed yourself with their amazing food.
If you are looking for a lavish relaxing vacation with good food, this is the resort for you. Be ready to spend and at the end you will walk away smiling and most probably feeling that you did the right thing.
Rely on me because I rely on my experience.

We just spent 3 days/4 nights here and booked an Oceanfront Deluxe Room. We had the worst accomdations: Oceanview was really a cruiselineview room ... we woke up each morning to smacked with the view of cruise ships instead of the ocean and the noise of the people disembarking; the hotel key didn't work and we had to go back to the front desk everyday day for our 1st two days. For the money we paid for, I was pissed. The front desk was argumentative and said that information is on the website. It is, but you have to hunt for it. The hotel site did not give you a heads-up about the cruise ships just as they would if say, the hotel lobby was under construction. Hotel Manager was very apologetic and compensated us with 2 breakfasts.

Hotel has the best location in Key West as it was close to all the shops, mallory square, restaurants tec. We had the best dinner at Latitudes. Next time we go back, we will stay at Sunset Keys Cottages.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry you weren't completely happy with every aspect of your stay. While we do have an active cruise ship port (which we state on our website), cruise ships do not dock here every day. The City of Key West has a cruise ship calendar available for everyone to see on their website - our dock is designated with a (B). This schedule is subject to change, and therefore it is not possible to predict/guarantee/notify the guests about the presence or absence of a cruise ship when a guest books a room. We're glad you enjoyed our location and Latitudes, and we look forward to your return as guests of Sunset Key!
