“Ok but to expensive”

It's a good way to see the town but way to expensive. 36 usd per person!!! And it's to complicated to get there when you are picked up by a bus from hotel to hotel.

I was sorry to read your comments about our tour and wish you had indicated where you purchased your ticket. Tickets for Old Town Trolley Tours are $29 for adults making me curious where one buys a $36 ticket. If you purchase your ticket online there is a discount. The ticket is also good for two consecutive days.

We do have a 100% money back guarantee which you will find on the customer service area of our website.

“Interesting sightseeing”

We used Old Town Trolley to tour Key West during our recent visit. The driver was entertaining and explained quite a bit of Key West history during the tour. We didn't hop off at any of the stops as we had limited time in Key West during this trip, but the opportunity to do so is there.

“tourist all the way”

I have been to Key West many times, but have never taken the Trolley Tour. I was talked into it.
It was very nice to get a running commentary of the sights and buildings with a little humor??? from the guide. But if you like to walk around and discover on your own this is not for you. On the other hand. If all that walking and being forward by asking questions and doing some of your own research is NOT your thing, then this is just your ticket. It is a good deal price wise. 2 days for 1. Use it as a regular trolley after your guided tour. Use it to get around Key West.

“THE WAY TO GET AROUND IN KEY WEST”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

We booked this as a shore excursion from the Norwegian Pearl at $29.00 each. We were picked up dockside right near the gangway.

Once in Key West on the trolley route, the tour took 90 minutes and took us around past all the points of interest. There were 12 hop-on, hop-off stops. Highlights of the landmarks included Mallory Square with dozens of attractions, Sloppy Joe's Bar, Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shop, Duval Street, Oldest House in Key West, Hemingway House, Lighthouse Museum, East Martello Fort & Museum, Smathers Beach, Southernmost Point in the continental United States, and Mel Fisher's Treasures. And, I must not forget the free-roaming Key West Gypsy Chickens that are EVERYWHERE---city streets, parks, playgrounds, you name it!.

For most major attractions in the downtown area, the walk from the trolley stop was two blocks or less.

This was a fast-moving tour as the trolley did not get caught up in much traffic. The downside was that we did not have many chances to take photos of the points of interest as we passed.

When the 90 minutes were up, we were in a time crunch to catch our second shore excursion Hemingway Home & Sloppy Joe's Tour at 10:45 AM, so we did have the opportunity to use the hop-on, hop-off options.

I've used Old Town Trolley in St. Augustine and Boston. And, I really enjoyed using them to get around in those locations.

I highly recommend using Old Town Trolley. The company certainly deserves the 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

“Love the idea of Hop-on/Hop-off”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2014

We booked this thru our Royal Caribbean cruise. We stayed on the entire first ride just to see what was what. Josh, our driver, talked non-stop about everything Key West for 1 and one half hours. He was amazing. We got off the first trolley and jumped onto the second one and hopped off at the stops we had an interest in. Then just waited a few minutes for the next trolley to come along and continued to ride and hop off wherever we wanted. It was great. Very informative. If you can, get the newere trolley that has the super large window, rather than an older trolley that has large window, but not all of them roll down all the way because of the wheel wells. You'll get more air on the newer models. Also, the drivers will tell you, and it's very true: if you sit up front with the driver IT'S HOT!!!
