six blocks from Duval street, so you are far enough from the hustle and bustle, but not to far to walk. Book the Country Cottage Room. It is by far the best and you get a sit down porch to yourself. Les and Paul off course are great and thoughtful hosts. There is a Old Town Bakery about two doors down, which you got to visit. Amazing bread, especially the Brioche bread. Then you have eaton Bicycles for rent, which is also two doors down. So yes, The Knowles house is the way to go.

Room Tip: The Country Cottage room comes with a private porch and a spacious restroom

This place is very GOOD. It's a bit far from Duval, but close to the Ferry Terminal. The rooms are cute, clean, and have amazing beds. You can enjoy the sun deck in the afternoon, and a dip in the pool or hot tub. The owners are sweet, caring, attentive - just really good people. They offer you a hand with your luggage, bring refreshments upon check in, and make sure that guests are having an enjoyable experience while in key west. It was 4 of us traveling together and we all agreed that we will be back

Room Tip: All poolside rooms seem to be a bit bigger

The Knowles house is on Eaton St, just a couple of blocks up from the waterfront and a short walk to Duval St. and Mallory Square. The location was perfect. They do not have their own parking lot but the owners, Les and Paul, will point you to free on-street parking, so that was no issue at all.

The house itself is lovely and well maintained. The building is an L shape, partially surrounding a courtyard with a covered seating area (where breakfast is served), a very small pool and a hot tub. Off to the side there is a private outdoor shower that you can use before swimming, or as your bathing spot - soap and shampoo are provided.

My wife and I stayed in the Country Cottage Room which opens directly to the courtyard/pool area. It also has a door that leads to a private porch on the front of the house. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable and we couldn't have asked for more.

Breakfast was delicious - plenty of items to choose from. Fresh fruit, cereal/granola, yougurt, quiche, assorted breads and more. One day we were even served a french toast casserole. The had plenty of beverage choices; milk, juice, soda, coffee. The also offered free wine and beer at any time that one of the owners was there - 9 AM to 7 PM or so.

Les and Paul were fantastic hosts - the offered lots of great suggestions of things to do and see and restaurants to eat. They know all the deals in town and have many discount coupons that they can send you out with.

We loved this place and would hightly recommend it!

Loved this B & B and recommend it highly! My husband and I just stayed for a couple of nights at the end of July. Everything about it is clean, pretty and friendly. You won't do better in Key West! The house is furnished with Key West touches and ours had a King bed and private shower. Les and Paul are perfect hosts.

Stayed only 2 nights but wish it were more. Had the "Tropical" room - awesome first floor location. Hosts were nothing but fantastic. Location was perfect - a stones throw from the Old Town Bakery (yum !). Highly recommend this B & B and we will be back !!!
