This Marriott is new and that makes a difference. The new hotels have much less noisy a/c units and much nicer bedding, towels, amenities, furniture etc. We stayed in a water front 3 bedroom suite with a kitchen, living room, DR area and three en suite bedrooms. Everything was clean, new and spacious. There were three flat screen TVs to accommodate everyone's taste for TV.
This unit could be shared by three couples or a large family. The view was spectacular and there was a shuttle bus downtown that ran every hour. It is in a quiet location away from the hub bub of Duval Street and it is convenient to the airport and to other lower keys -like Pine Key.
The breakfast buffet was good and the coffee was nice and strong. We also enjoyed a nice dinner one night at the tavern restaurant.
I never went to the pool but the area was nice and it definitely was luxurious. Best was that there were not a lot of screaming children running around.
I would definitely go back.More
