You need to come early as this place is popular and they run out of different items. Everything is made fresh each day. The Pierogi are FAB!!

This little shop is not found in the busy area near Duval St. I'll bet most tourists don't even know it exists. My daughter and son-in-law were familiar with this Polish "bit of heaven" and suggested we get some of their pierogis for dinner. They were phenomenal. I'd heard that sometimes you can get them heated up and served with sautéed onions and sour cream. You
can also by some frozen for future meals. We had some of the potato-cheese which were great; I had never had mushroom and sauerkraut pierogis before, but found them amazing. They have spinach pierogis and meat filled too. They also sell kielbasa sandwiches as well as all sorts of
other Polish treats. Another big treat to be found there was a fabulous bread which disappeared very quickly when slathered with butter. Sometimes simple is better, in this case it was a lot better!

This place was a complete surprise. Ethnic Polish food, well presented and clean in a tidy little shop. But the sausage in the meat counter at the back of the shop is just amazing and the perfect remedy for traveling with my vegetarian wife. We all have to fall off the wagon once in awhile.

We've been staying in the Keys for five weeks, and this was our third visit to Key West this month, and second to this place. The food was so good and so authentic that after lunch we ordered two dinners to go to enjoy back in our rental on Marathon Key. Polska Kielbasa and Boczek Faszerowany (stuffed bacon) sandwiches were delicious. The Ruskie pierogis and Gulasz and Golabki with knedlik we ordered for late night dinner were a welcome change.
