Loved the opportunity my son had to go on stage and pet the dolphin. All shows were up close and personal and worth every penny! So much better than the big Sea World Shows!!

“Better than Sea World”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

It is small but very well done you start with one show and they just keep directing you to the next so you don't have to think about a thing. Whole park is done in 2 and a half hours which is great In this heat. I would recommend doing the 9.30am start as there were very few people which meant we got to interact with the animals much more and of course it was cooler. our girls aged 10 and 12 then did the swim with the dolphins and this was an awesome experience for them they got to do a double dorsal fin tow. The best part is that its now 3.30pm and we are back in our resort having a cold beer. Kids are still talking about Theatre of the Sea, so a definite visit if you are down here with kids.

“Neat experience but not worth the price.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014 via mobile

Good stuff first. It is intimate and close up to the animals. The foliage on this property is lush, exotic, green and beautiful! The small (120'x50') lagoon/beach was the highlight for our girls. A large group of beautiful parrotfish brushed up against us as we fed them pellets purchased out of a machine. They even allowed us to touch them as they ate. Bring your snorkel gear because we saw 2 lobsters (one was really big), tarpon, barracuda and the nurse sharks thru the fence that separates the lagoon from the "shark swim" area. Now the not so good stuff... $135 for 3 adults (our 13 yr old is an adult) and 2 children. After spending approximately 3 hours seeing everything there was to see, we felt the ticket price was too high for the experience. The dolphin didn't want to participate so we watched the trainers clean, yes clean, and try to call him until they finally asked us to go to the sea lion show. Understandable. We sat and watched the trainers weigh the sea lions and clean. Only 2 of the 4 fans were working. You would think that part of the money they make would help maintain the fans for the comfort of the paying visitors. Minor annoyance. The trainers were passionate but the shows were mediocre. In all, we wouldn't go back.

Thank Heftfive
