No complaints on the hotel. I would definately stay there again. Only downside was the outback tiki bar. Poor service. Both batender i dealt with were border line rude. They seemed like they did not want to be there and one even complained of being tired working long hours. I ended up not using the bar anymore.

Although the Hampton Inn shows some of the wear that we have come to expect from most properties close to the ocean in Florida, our family was very happy with the hotel and room. The hotel was well maintained and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast area was a little crowded and choices limited when we got ready to check out but we couldn't expect perfection because we slept in and were late checking out. There is no beach but there is a raised concrete platform with a ladder to allow someone to step down to the water if they desire swimming in the ocean. It was beautiful to sit out in the deck chairs (or on the balcony) and enjoy the ocean breeze. A note of caution if you have children or non-swimmers in the family, the pool has a large deep end (so deep that I thought there might have been a diving board at one time when the hotel was built) so an extra close eye on children will be needed. We were driving so we had the option to driving down to the Bahia Honda State Park (we recommend it) for a beautiful beach and recreation options. There are a number of state parks closer to the hotel and we have heard good things about them too. We plan to come back to the keys and use this hotel as a sort of base of operations for our next visit. Although the hotel is connected to a restaurant (didn't use the restaurant so I can't rate it good or bad), there are many choices for eating in the area. Our family had a double-queen room on a high floor facing the parking lot we were quite happy.

Hampton Inn was a great place for a family of five. The two bedroom suite was perfect for all our needs. We enjoyed the continental breakfast especially the waffles. We would recommend this hotel to others.

My family of five stayed here for two nights while we were visiting the Keys. I didn't think it was worth the money at all. Our oceanfront room was dated, not particularly clean, and partially overlooked 'Sea Monkeys Rentals', which sits next to the hotel on the left. That place looks like something from a bad reality show. The breakfast was OK as was the small fitness center. On the positive side, the pool area is excellent and the beach area is really nice for relaxing. It's not a beach in the traditional sense---the sand ends at a sea wall, and the ocean is accessible via a step ladder--but they have hammocks and lounge chairs that are readily available and really nice. There aren't a lot of choices in national chain hotels in this area, but Hampton Inns usually do a better job.

Room Tip: If getting an oceanfront room, stay away from the left side of the hotel to avoid a disturbing view...

Just stayed four nights here with 7 family members in two different rooms. The resort was really wonderful and it was nice to be at a Hampton Inn instead of the locally owned places on the Key.

The rooms were very spacious and we enjoyed the two bedroom suites with the mini kitchens. This allowed us to have lunch in our room each day. The grounds were very clean and the beach area very comfortable and beautiful. We also enjoyed the beach area at night and always felt safe. Peering into the water with our flashlight we were able to see many amazing sea creatures. Parking was no problem and the staff were all very accommodating.

Breakfast was better than we had anticipated and not overly crowded although there hotel was booked full. The layout and flow made it seem busy, but not crowded. The selection of food choices was great and the staff including Maria were continually refreshing all items. Maria was beyond amazing and very friendly and accommodating.

If we are ever back at Islamorada we will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Our rooms were on the top floor.

Although Islamorada may not be thought of as a meeting and convention destination, we thought it would be fun to plan a business seminar there. The hotel advertised that they had meeting space so we booked with our favorite chain. Meeting space needs work to be more modern and professional. Upgrade to the electrical system is needed. Staff is great! Sleeping rooms need to be freshened up especially the restrooms. Location on the ocean is fantastic. If you're looking for a small meeting space, this may work for you.

We live in Fort Lauderdale so this was the perfect place to stay for our 2 day get away. The hotel had a beautiful location and the relaxing hammocks make for a cozy place to nap in the sun. Mark at the front desk was very friendly and upgraded us to a suite ! I will definately be coming back here the next time I need a mini vacation.
