Description: Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.

“A little pricey..”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

This place has pretty good food, but are known best for their desserts! The typical food on the menu ranges from 12-35$ per entree, I find it to be a bit flavorless and wasn't really tasty as I had hoped for, but on the upside, they were open late as we got into the area pretty late, our waitress was not really attentive and we sat with empty drinks for some time, however the baker Barbara came over to ask how everything was and if there was anything she could get for us and was very friendly which is always appreciated. She personally makes all desserts, I wish i wasn't so tired and could of ate more. The scallops were very good and fresh, but it seems they slack a little on any seasoning on meats other than seafood.

“Delicious food and service with a smile!”
Reviewed 1 October 2013 via mobile

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner on our way to Key West. My salad was fresh, cold and tasty and the fish was delightfully prepared. Julie, our server, was sweet and knowledgable! Only improvement could have been dessert--why use fake whipped cream? Regardless-- will stop again when we come back up to Islamorada!

“YUMMY :0)”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

We were initially told it was "M" "A"'s, instead of Ma's(like Mamma), so we had a little chuckle when we pulled up.The food here was so delicious, we ate there twice. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and happily smiled. Whenever visiting the Keys, you're on Island Time, so sit back relax, you're going to LOVE your meal. The conch fritters were outstanding. Fish was fresh, sauces perfect! Key Lime Pie- AMAZING, and I forgot the name of their specialty cake, Hummingbird Cake-WOW. Try it!!! You'll want another piece. The customers are friendly as well. Whenever someone saw a dish on another table, everyone was friendly enough to show and discuss. It was kind of nice to enjoy the company and laughter with the other customers. It adds to the fullness that MA'S offers. My husband and I said we'd take a day trip from Lauderdale just to go to MA'S. Now I want a piece of the Key Lime Pie...

“BEST FOOD ON TRIP”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

This was the best seafood and key lime pie we had on our road trip through the keys. The ambiance was a little lacking (old pizza hut building, maybe?) -- but, the food was hands down delish. We had the Metacumbe Snapper, Conch Fritters, some fish special of the day (outstanding)...and the deep dish key lime pie which came with a fresh strawberry glaze and homeade whip cream....BEST KEY LIME PIE OF THE TRIP. Get over the old pizza hut building and go there!!!
