This is an unassuming restaurant overlooking the Calusa Cove marina [about 3 Miles south of Robbie's, near Anne's Beach], with a spacious air-conditioned interior, and indifferent service … but … THE FOOD … IS DELICIOUS!!! When you're down in the FL Keys, you want fish, seafood, and more fish; and when you decide to make that leap to landlubber food, you sure want it to be good … well, this Cuban food is something great, and by no means a letdown from the sea fare. Lunch was so good that we [2 Couples] ate here 2 days in a row, and were sad to find the restaurant closed [Sunday & Monday] when we tried for our 3rd visit on the drive back up from Key West to FLL Airport. The lunch servings are large, but so good, that you're not gonna wanna share, and you're gonna end up [over] eating it all. We so enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich and the Churassco [marinated steak] Cuban Wrap Special that we ate the same thing both visits, even though we were tempted by lots of other tasty choices on the menu. The sweet & strong Cuban Coffee helps to re-energize you & get you moving again. Someone else we met raved about their Lobster Bisque, but we didn't have a chance to try that. Quality ingredients, well prepared recipes, generous portions & great flavors … We definitely recommend Habanos for Lunch!
