What can I say. If you like to be on the water this is the place to do it. The Spray Team...Jim, Xavier and Danny were great and treated us like VIP's. The guided jet ski tour was so much fun.
Thanks guys!!!

“Great Time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

We had Danny. He was great. The guys setting us up were great and funny too. They were freely sharing sunblock with customers and one of them loaned me his personal waterproof container for my cell phone. They will also store your valuables for free. I tipped Danny $20 bucks which is very rare for me but that is how good it was.You will NEED a credit card to give as a deposit even if paying for cash in case there is damage to a jet ski or boat. We learned of this pearl from Kenny at the Key Largo welcome center he was great and informative too. The ride is fast about 50 MPH and a lot of fun. There is shopping, food and a bar all at the same location behind The Postcard Inn. I stayed somewhere else, but next time I am going to try to stay there. About a half mile out from the Post Card Inn is a really nice sandy sandbar that we stopped and swam at. I ran into another couple there that had also stopped at Pennekamp Park and thought it was overrated, same as me. The Postcard Inn was WAY nicer. The bar and grill was awesome too as you can watch the fish as you eat. They need marinara for their calamari though! Spray Watersports could really use a sign out front too as they were a bit difficult to find because there are so many other shops/charters in the area. Again though ....AWESOME!

“Great staff with flair!”

Had a great time renting several boats from Spray Watersports -- the 23' skiff is brand new and worth every penny, the teenagers opted for the Sea-Ray jet boat one afternoon and it was the highlight of their vacation. Jim & Dave/Patrick took great care of us and kept us in stitches with their antics and stories (ask for the "Sham-wow" treatment)! Definitely recommend for family fun on the water!

“One of the best activities all week. ”

We did the 10am tour with Xavier. My wife and 6yr old daughter had a blast. We rented the sea doo boat which drove, jumped, and turned like a jet ski. They took us through mangrove trails, a few islands, and a sandbar to take a dip. Great time!

BEWARE this business is unethical. There was an inordinate about of sea grass the day we went out. It was clogging the intake valve on the bottom of the jet ski. We came back after only using half of our time, because the jet skis would not operate properly. We complained when we came back, and were told that they knew there was a problem with the sea grass all day affecting the use of the jet skis, but if people wanted to use the jet skis they were going to let them. We were told the "fix" was to get off the jet ski in the ocean and stick our hands up into the intake valve and clear the sea grass. We had rented two jet skis and gone out with our children, who were not only upset, but scared out in the ocean with an inability to accelerate the jet skis. The manager did not care and told us the issue was ours. If you dare use this facility, use your American Express card so that if you run into a problem, you will at least have the consumer protection provided by American Express.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry that it was still unclear to you that the jet ski has a jet drive as stated on your contracts, warning labels, and explained to you before your trip. We explained the instructions on cleaning out the seagrass during your pre ride instruction. We can only think that you understand when you say yes I understand. May I suggest in the future while renting any type of vehicle, that you actually read your contract and conditions before you sign, "I'm ready and able!" statement. Next time you may want to rent one of our outboard boats as they require no grass maintenance.
