We didn't say here, but we rented a boat from here during our week stay in Marathon with the goal of diving Sombrero reef.
Back in the fall when we were booking our vacation during XMas to New Years week, most boat rental places I inquired at either did not reply back to my e-mails in a timely fashion, or they just said they were booked or needed minimum XXX days rental when booking in advance. Captain Pips replied back the very next morning, and she (I think her name was Ellie) was VERY helpful, and as I continued to e-mail back 'n forth with her, she was always replying back quickly and just seemed so helpful.
The day we rented the boat, was very windy, small craft warning, not a day to take our 10 yo daughter out to Sombrero reef to five. So we stayed mostly gulf side and around the 7 mile bridge area. Rented the 24' Hurricane deck boat. The boats are a bit more than "used" looking but the engine ran great, starts right up, and for a big 225hp was very thrifty on gas. And those are what count! Price seemed a bit better than some other places too.
The young girl that checked us in with the paperwork was very helpful and nice. And the dude that checked us out and back in with the boat was nice 'n laid back and helpful.
If we ever go back to the Keys and need to rent a boat, it will be from here!
