This was something my boys' grandpa and uncle decided we needed to do while in the Orlando area. We reluctantly made reservations, but let me tell you, this was the older boys' (8 & 5) favorite activity! Okay, even us adults enjoyed it!

At first it seemed a little pricey, but it was well worth it! It's a couple of hours of entertainment and a meal while seated in the air-conditioning, which beats the heck out of a couple of hours of fighting crowds in the sweltering parks, if you ask me!

I figured the food would be barely edible since we were paying to be entertained. It was average with the exception of the DELICIOUS chicken!!!

Of course, if you want to have fun here, it will help if you "play along". The boys loved being called "Prince"s and we cheered for our knight until we were hoarse (pun intended!)

“Times are rough!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2005

We purchased our tickets ahead but had to go the day of our reservations to upgrade to loyalty (10.00 dollars additional per person). We were seated and shortly thereafter realized that we didn't have any of the ammenities that loyalty were suppose to receive. After asking a server he got management, but unfortunately for us the loyalty seats were over booked and we were squeezed in on a row that was already full and further away from the show than we were to begin with. We received no apologies refund etc... I e-mailed Medieval Times with no response. It was a good show but definitely not worth $240.00 for 4.

“Don't waste your time!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2005

Went to the show with a group and were put in the back row, not a good view from there! The food was average, the unlimited beverage turned out to be three mugs of weak beer or cola.

There was little atmosphere and the actors didn't seem interested in involving the crowd at all.

It was raining when we got there and the outside of the premisies was shabby and all the covering over the walkways had been ripped off needless to say we got soaked. They made us wait in the rain until they realised our pre-paid vouchers were good. The parking lot was chaos after the event with very little marshalling.

Overall a very expensive flop - go and see Pirates or Arabian Knights and don't waste your money here!

“Loved it!”

We went to the Oct. 2nd show for my husband's birthday. Even though some of the village was closed due to hurricane damage, the people were very friendly and helpful and told us all about life during that time. We paid for the royalty upgrade which was worth it because we sat in the front row. Our knight gave our daughter a token of his affection, which made her night exceptional! The food was plentiful and really good, except for the potato being a little dry, and the show was great. We loved it!

“Crappy Show with bad acting and food!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2004

I thought that this was going to be one of the highlights of my honeymoon, but I was highly disappointed. We stopped in for reservations prior to attending the show and they offered us the royalty package (which I strongly advise against). You will pay more money to sit in priority seating which is the first three of five rows. This is also on a first come first serve basis. We arrived an hour early and were the last people in the last row of this section. As far as the food goes it was so/so. We each recieved 1/2 a chicken, one ---that's right--- one baby back rib, soup, etc. The amount was good, the taste was less than desirable, and it certainly wasn't worth over $50 per person. The beer was okay and the coffee was terrible. The only decent thing about the show was the joust. The rest of the choreography was awful. This show is probably very entertaining for children, but if it is all adults in your party just skip it. It is over priced and they try to hook you in to photos and souvenirs throughout the entire show. If we would have purchased every photo and souvenir they were pedaling, we would have spent well over $200.00 for two people for the hour and a half show. Additionally, the pedalers kept pacing the rows, constantly walking in front of us, and obstructing our view. If you want a really good time go to Capone's Dinner and Show!
