“A Huge Piece of History”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

The pioneer village is a gem hidden in the woods. A cluster of buildings brings the past to life, and the docent tour is the best. Ask your guide -- ours was Edna -- what is their favorite part of the village. At the museum, which is free (village is $5) wander around or follow the prepared route. The museum is all indoors and great AC.

“quiet oasis in the middle of hectic Kissimmee”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

free parking and $5 a head and a tranquil visit to this pioneer village and then onto their museum across the 192. this is a real find if you want to learn about Florida which has lots more to offer than Mickey Mouse, okay it is small but the $5 inlcudes the village tour with a guide and a nature trail you can tgake yourself off to and then about 1/2 mile away there is the pioneer museum, free and air conditioned.ever wondered abou the names of the 'critters' it is all here, allow yourself a couple of hours away from the hustle and bustle

“Nice historic attraction”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

Very interesting pioneer buildings in a rural setting, but very close to Rt 192. Just discovered this year, after visiting Kissimmee for 20 years. It takes about an hour to see everything. We had a very nice guided tour. Something nice to do other than theme parks.
