Terrible service. Received several phone calls asking when we would arrive.... When we were not running late of check in. Paid with cash was not aware of a 50 dollar fee they held if anything was damaged so had to run around to find an arm. Very inconvenient. With an autistic child who was very crabby the host didn't seem to have much sympathy on us.

This is an older Super 8 but was clean and bug-free and less than 10 minutes from Disneyworld. The breakfast was basic but good and there is a Denny's and a Dunkin Donuts on either side, so there were choices. The pool was salt water which we liked and was clean and had a nice lounge area with it. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Very good experience overall!!

Check in to check out the unit was clean and had no bad odors. The king bed was a bit harder than I would like and the TV was slightly damaged but otherwise for the price this place is a great option and an awesome value.

We decided spur of the moment to spend the weekend in the Orlando area. While driving over I searched online for hotel rooms for the same night. I found the Super 8 which seemed to have ok reviews and had a good price. We have had good luck staying at other Super 8 locations in AZ and CA so we didn't think this would be any different. I booked using Super 8's own website with the Wyndham member discount.

We checked in around 5pm and the front desk attendant was fine (not warm or friendly, but did his job with no problems). The attendant when we checked out (female) seemed more friendly, but at that point we were happy to be leaving. We were given a room on the first floor to the left as you face the lobby. There were boards of wood and counter tops laying again the wall on the side of the building? There was a white vinyl fence with a few patio tables along the side

When we entered the room we immediately noticed a very musty smell. We turned on the AC full blast to try to help with that. The exterior door to the room had virtually no seal (it closed and locked fine). You could see a large gap with sunlight streaming in from around the door. This would obviously allow AC to escape and heat and bugs to enter. The decor in the room looks like they are trying to be modern and we appreciated that. However, our experience feel pretty short.

The room offered a desk with mirror and chair attached to the TV stand with 2 drawers under. We had 2 beds with a nightstand between. The electrical outlet in the nightstand was not operational. There is a mini fridge with microwave and a safe. There was a hole in the wall next to the bed and stuffed with toilet paper! The beds were not comfortable with squeaky springs that poked you. The light switches near the bed were nasty.

The sink is separated from the toilet and shower. The shower threshold was very low and the curtain wouldn't stay in allowing water to pool all over the floor. It was obvious that previous water damage had happened to the wall between the bathroom and bedroom as the wall looked as though the bottom half had been patched in the past and then damaged again. There was a small nook for soap on the wall of the shower, but it wasn't even big enough for the travel sized shampoo bottles to fit, so your shower toiletries had to sit on the floor. While there was an opening in the sink counter for tissues, we had no tissues in our room. We had 2 unmatched brand bottles of complimentary shampoo next to the sink, one of which was sitting upside down and only half full, leading me to believe it was used by the last guest. There was a washcloth thrown over the shower curtain. The curtain was pushed to one side when we entered the room, so this wasn't noticeable until you spread the curtain out to take a shower.

We were unable to connect to the wifi. The pool was tiny, across the parking lot from the rooms, and had very short hours. The rear of the building next to our side (left when looking toward lobby) of the motel seemed to be a place where drunks congregated. We saw some shady looking characters with clothing items strewn over railings, beer bottles/cans, and at least one man urinating against the side of the building. We didn't feel comfortable parking our car along this side, so we chose to park closer to the Denny's restaurant in front of the building.

The positives: This motel was in a nice location to visit Disney or any of the shopping or attractions in LBV or Celebration. Tons of restaurants nearby. The water pressure in the shower was crazy strong! The AC worked well.

We would not return here again and wouldn't recommend to others.

It was worth the price I paid, the staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was limited but again well worth what I paid to be there. Room service came through and picked up after us daily. The pool is small but not the reason we went to Orlando and we barely had time to dip a toe in it anyway, though a cute duck found it honey one evening. The rooms smell musty and old but we’d brought essential oils to defeat bugs and improve smells :) The windows are old and not lockable but they’ve placed “braces” in them. A couple of bugs, broken beer bottle glass in the parking lot. Still worth what I paid.
