Stayed here for week in block 9 over looking pool. Very fortunate as many had no pool and had to walk to other buildings to use a pool. The free DVD films were available until 10pm. The rooms were very well appointed including washer and dryer, The staff are very helpful. Very convenient location. This is a Timeshare complex and they are proactive in sales. Although very well equipped some cost cutting was revealed in the collapsing settee and flimsy shower tray/door and noisy neighbours. Altogether a very comfortable place to stay. For those from the UK that may have seeen the Arabian

I spent a week at this resort. Based on previous reviews, I knew that I didn't want to stay in Buildings 13 or less. I stayed in Building 14 with a party of 6 and I was completely satisfied. We utilized two apartments in the building. I believe they were A and B units. We didn't have any problems with parking or noise. The apartments were new with washer/dryer units and flat screens. Also, I checked in around 8pm w/o any problems. The resort was convenient to DisneyWorld, restaurants, and grocery stores. Also, I wasn't hounded by sales representatives. However, I think attending the timeshare presentation is worthwhile because I received a nice discount on 4 parks at DisneyWorld.

We booked through RCI one Apartment A and an apartment A & B in Bulding 11.
We wrote to reservations prior to our arrival asking for a cot and a high chair and they responded noting our requirments.
On arrival we were told the resort had no highchairs - had we been informed before we would have bought our own which we had left at home in Miami. The cot was not in the room and when asked for it was told it would cost $20 dollars a week - not a problem but would have nice to have been informed previously.
Our parents had an apartment A and there was no stove, no plug in sink, airconditioning didnt work - they froze one night and cooked another as the controls didnt respond. no maintenance available over night - no stock sheet so you didnt know what you were supposed to have
No dishwasher in either apartments, no shampoo or bath gel. previous guests wet swimming costume left in the apartment. Drawers not cleaned out. no instructions on how to use any equipment including air conditioning.
Not much to do at resort , parking difficult, time share salesperson very upset when we didnt buy.
We would not stay here again

We loved our vacation! It was a last minute decision before the kids went back to school we got a really good deal thru our time share. The kids and I were alone we stayed at Vactaion village all week had no other plans but to relax before school started. There were lots of activities for the kids. Love that the pool is saltwater as I am allergic to chlorine. Activities room had free movie rentals and games all week. The buildng was clean though there were some older ones we did not stay in them. I loved that there were propane grills no need to purchase charcoal. The grills were close enough to the park I could grill and watch my 5 year old. We will do this aggain next year.

I had booked my trip from India for self with family and and my mom and dad.we were 4 persons.i was really shocked to have a make over bed in the living room of such a poor quality.and i was also not happy with the facilities in the resort as even for preparing coffee .they should take leaf from and orange county of India where treating the guest is concerned.

first thing make sure you pull in on arabian nights blvd.or you will have trouble finding check-in. we stayed in bldg. 4 with our three girls 10-14. we had the a and b units .it was nice to have some privacy from the girls and they liked having thier own place too. the rooms were very clean and had a washer / dryer in both sides. they could use a little updating but they were fine. the tv in our bedrooms were a little small but worked good .the tv in the living room of the larger unit was about a 60 inch mitsu. dinasour but the picture was good. the only complaints i have is that there is'nt any thing to do in the resort. the activity room wasn't much to speak of and if you wanted to hang out at the pool and have a drink or snack you were out of luck. there was no snack or tiki type bar to get anything. also no small gift shop to get sun sreen , batteries or any small thing you might need .and finally the only real annoying thing was the service carts pounding down the tile areas in the hotel hallway was kind of loud in the middle of the night,i think they should invest in some carpet runners. all in all the resort is fine if you have plenty to do outside of the resort.

My husband and our 2 teenage sons stayed here for 1 week from 17th July in building 3. We booked late so all that was left was a B Unit which was small but sufficient and we knew that it was only 1 bedroom. The unit is a bit old and needs upgrading but as mentioned it was what we booked so we got what we expected. We had asked to be in a new building but the reception guy checked and although there was one available said the construction opposite it was awful so we'd be better where we were so we stayed in the old building. On the plus side it was convenient for the parks and other places, a Publix was 2 blocks over as well and starbucks was round the corner which please my husband.

But, having stayed in other "gold crown" resorts with RCI before we were disappointed in this one, certain little things made it seem lower than that. Like it was really dark and dingy feeling in the rooms and there was only 1 bedside light in the whole bedroom. The place didn't feel clean although I'm sure it is but because the furniture and carpets need replacing they look pretty dirty. We had to pay to use the safe and then it wasn't activated, we called and asked for it to be fixed but the person couldn't understand what we were saying. We called to ask for more towels, and again had to call again because the first person didn't understand us.

And I left my makeup bag behind, stupid I know but when I called to ask if they had found it somehow they never did!

Overall we wouldn't pick this resort again though.
