This home was one of the nicest we have stayed at. Very clean and we'll kept. Neighbourhood was quiet. Management company was great to deal with and very accommodating. The backyard wasn't very private, not that it was an issue as no one was around. The A/C could have been a little colder as well. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend to families, families with small children and couples travelling together. We had a two year old and an eight month old and the house was perfect for little ones. Thanks for a great vacation home!!
8 of us stayed for 2 weeks, from the off Angela the owner was very good at keeping in contact and providing everything we needed to know,it was our first time in a villa and it was beyond our expectations, close to parks and the 192 and i4,i enjoyed the fact it was home from home, only couple miles to nearest publix supermarket although I would recommend going to Walmart for a bigger shop (a lot cheaper),the villa was nice and clean and big,we didn't use the front room or dining room,we all sat around the dining area and living room.angela did advise to have the heating for the pool, and we wish we had,it was cold but still jumped in a few times,we just enjoyed sitting by the pool with a few beers after a long day in the parks,we would recommend this villa to anyone,we're going back to Orlando in October but as its only 3 of us the villa is too big,but if we're ever going with friends again I wouldn't hesitate to use the villa again,we can't find any faults,my wife, our toddler and myself had the master bedroom, don't think I've ever slept in such a big bed,we found it very comfortable and was nice having the fan above the bed,( I could roll over 3 times and still be nowhere near my wife) was also nice having a shower and bath in our en suite.easy to find once we realised the junctions on the i4 had changed, need to come off at junction 64 not 28.was really gutted when our holiday ended.
We were looking for a base for a golf get away for myself and my two sons. This home was perfect. It had Everything we were looking for and then some. The location was central to dozens of great golf locations. Our favorite was Royal Saint Cloud Golf Links.
The houses game room was a real bonus. The kitchen was we'll equipped as my one son is a pretty accomplished cook. He also brewes his own beer and one of his favorite craft beers is Jai Lali from Cigar City Brewery in Tampa. We did a quick trip from Kissimmee and took the tour on Saturday
We decided to make this vacation an annual event and will be back next year. You can't go wrong with this home.
The Location is excellent and travel time to WDW is great, 10-15 minutes by car depending on traffic. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a safe residential area. I think it took us slightly under 10 minutes some mornings. You can avoid toll roads without adding more than a minute or two travel time (sometimes it is the fastest way).
You Pick up keys from a lock box so there is no time wasted meeting someone to get them. Instructions from the owner are super clear and easy to follow. This is so very nice. The house has an alarm system that is very easy to use and has clear instructions for you if you are not used to using one.
We cooked several meals there and found everything we could possibly need. An electric tea kettle was a most welcome sight. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen has a nice amount of counter space. The house has a nice big fridge as well.
There are plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. Plenty. We have rented places where this is a problem, in fact this was the first time we have rented a house where it wasn't a problem at all.
The family room is large and has room for everyone. The couches are big and comfy, there is great light too. Plenty of room to relax and talk after a long day in the parks.
Garage is a game room. We really enjoyed it. We actually never turned the TV on for the entire trip!
Management is super responsive. We couldn't find the wifi password and had to call to get it, they were very easy to get ahold of.
We didn't use the pool but it looks great and we might come back in the warmer months to give it a try!
A few things that were less than perfect:
Zero consumable products. No laundry soap, no dish soap, no paper towels, only the partial roll of TP in the bathrooms, no salt and pepper, nothing. Most places we have stayed have at lease paper goods and often a few other things. Expect nothing. It was so bare we had to change plans to go to the grocery store sooner for fear of running out of TP.
The beds. The King bed was pretty uncomfortable (my husband might have called it a crime against humanity). The twin bed bedrooms are not well suited for older kids, although if you have a bunch under 10 it would be great! Our teens found them uncomfortable and thought the beds were smaller than a standard twin size bed (no idea if they were correct about that or not, they are all tall kids that sleep on bigger beds at home). The Double bed was by far the most comfortable in the house, so much so that if we come back we will claim that bed and put one of the kids in the master bedroom.
A/C- the system prevents you from setting it lower than 72 degrees. The claim is fear of freezing over the system. I live in Texas and am quite sure that this is not a real concern at anything close to 72. Florida is a very damp place and 72 is a terrible min temp in January since it prevents you from running the a/c for an hour to get rid of the damp on an otherwise not too warm day. If setting the thermostat to 72 equaled getting the house to 72 degrees that would be fine, but I am positive we never got near to 72. Either a more centrally placed thermostat or setting it to a more reasonable min temp of 70 would be an easy way to fix this. I am sure people run the a/c all day in the summer and I know how expensive that can be, so I am pretty sure this is the real concern. (most people can figure out a work around so this is not a deal breaker, but it is a negative).
In balance this was a great house and fit our needs well. I had read from other reviews about the no salt & pepper aspect of the kitchen so I was not 100% surprised by this but the no extra TP caught me unaware. There is a ton of space and no shortage of pillows and blankets, something we often run into when renting houses. The location is great. None of the negatives are a deal breaker for us. If we go back to the area there is a very good chance we would stay here again, but I will pack the salt & pepper next time.
This villa was absolutely perfect! The location is around 10-15 minutes away from the Disney parks, in a residential neighborhood. It has everything you could ever need: TVs with cable, DVDs, laundry facilities, a beautiful pool. There is a sitting room, a living room, a dining room and 4 wonderful bedrooms. I can't say enough great things. Everything was super clean and ready for use. You do need to have a vehicle. The supermarket is about 2 miles away. You will also need a few things such as laundry soap, dishwashing soap and a few other basic necessities.
There are plenty of towels, the bathroom in the master bedroom is enormous.
Just an absolutely perfect place to stay. You will not regret booking this place. All the other reviews are 100% correct. Truly excellent.
We hired the villa for the two weeks leading upto Christmas. It was a perfect base for our trip. Close to the many restaurants on the 192 and easy driving to all of the parks. I can't fault the accommodation and we loved the pool.
We would not hesitate to return. The owners have been really informative and helpful which is a real plus point.
Thanks Angela and Andrew for hiring it to us.
Looking forward to the next time already.
