This is another fairly new restaurant opened up in the Lake City area. This one is just off Exit 414 on I-75, so easy exit/entrance onto the interstate. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner, but breakfast & lunch served any time while dinner is from 4 PM to 8 PM. They open up at 6 AM. If you like Southern home cooking, this is a good place. Many old timey items are on the wall; they also have a flat screen TV on the wall, too. Booths & a sit down counter are available. My wife & I tried their ham steak & it was a very large piece of ham, covering nearly 1/2 the plate. A good variety of sides & many other items. Staff is friendly & service is good. We ate here in May after they first opened & came back again on 6/2. Certainly not a fancy place but overall was clean & a home type atmosphere. Home fries here are excellent.
