First of all, the staff is great. They are so friendly and helpful, which is exactly why one goes to small family restaurants. I was not disappointed. Although my server said LAMB, when I asked what people come there for, I ordered calamari and a salad. She assured me that I would enjoy it. They hand season and batter their calamari and it showed by being flavorful and tender. They serve it with Tzatziki, which I found an odd but delicious choice.
In addition, I ordered a small Greek salad that overflowed the bowl. It was good, although the dressing seemed a bit more Italian than Greek. I am probably used to dressing from a different region of the country. All in all it was fresh and good.
My ultimate test? Yes, I would return to the Greek Village. Parking and food was plentiful. It was easy to find in the strip center across from my hotel.
