“Wonderful & Best for the over 35 crowd”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Wonderful attraction for adults ( unless it's a child friendly event ). Quiet and slow paced walking tours, Carillon concerts, endless events like bring your dog, Boktoberfest, they're are lots. Exquisite gardens & view of rolling hills perfect for the photographer. Little gift shop, museum and eatery. elderly or non walkers will need a wheelchair. This is more of an upscale place for people who Like the Philharmonic, arts, mansion tours etc. Beautiful at the Holidays!

“Worth the drive!”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

A very quiet and tranquil garden worth visiting for half a day when you want to get out of the busy tourist attraction area of Orlando. The drive on the 27 is not a highway but more than a faster side street roads. You will hit traffic lights which makes the drive longer than you expect. However when you get to the gardens it feels like you've been transported to serenity. The garden is lush and well done. You might want to wear closed toe shoes due to the pathway are on mulch. If you get tired you can request shuttle service back to the visitor center. The bell tower is impressive with it's marble and tile. Take the time to visit Pinewood Estate. It's very nice and cozy house on the garden property. The docent there are great! Even though they are volunteers but they give really good detail information about the house. To get the best bang for your buck, do the combo pricing which gets you into the garden + Pinewood estate and use the Orlando Magic Discount Card which can be picked up for free from any hotel property. It's where you see all the flyers on attractions around the area. The card gives you a discount for the combo tickets.

“One of the most beautiful gardens in Florida!”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

Bok Tower is a quiet and beautiful place to get away from the craziness of all the Orlando attractions and get back to what Florida is all about. Quiet, peaceful old Florida.

“Heaven on Earth”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

Bok Tower Gardens is a slice of Heaven on Earth. It was how I would imagine the Garden of Eden to be. The gardens were a wonderful place to relax and reflect. There are benches situated throughout the property for this purpose. The music from the Carillon tower was pretty amazing. I especially enjoyed being able to watch the carilloneur play live via a video monitor in the gardens near the tower. After the concert, he came out and greeted the audience and answered questions.

An added bonus was the Pinewood Estate that is on the property. If you enjoy touring historic homes, you will enjoy this self guided tour. There are docents throughout the home to give tidbits of the history of the estate and answer questions. There is an added fee for this, but it was well worth the cost.

Set aside some time to have lunch in the cafe. The prices are very reasonable and it isn't ordinary cafe food. The salads were plentiful and delicious.

“Lovely!”

The Gardens are beautiful, the self-guided tour through the museum and the tour through the lovely house on the property were both very interesting and listening to the bells was enchanting. A very serene and peaceful environment.
