“Best pizza in town”

Once again, we tried different type of food and appetizers. Where really good, not just the food, but the service and the ambient make us feel like our home. Great staff. We will back.

“Great lunch find”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

Very nice, small, Italian restaurant. Had lunch-fish meal and lasagna meal .Large side order of pasta with their marinara sauce. Both meals delicious. Each meal was $7.49. Bottled beer (Corona) was $3.50. A real bargain. Very busy up even as we left after 2 P.M. Many locals. Great rolls.

“EXCELLENT Restaurant Tucked Away Inside Strip Mall”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

We've been eating here for at least 5 years and have never been disappointed. The food, the wait staff (Lucy is our favorite), the cozy atmosphere--all make up for a great dining experience. And the oh-so-reasonable prices!!! My husband's favorite is the baked lasagna, mine is the chicken marsala. I'm going to try the fried fish next time, because the table next to ours ordered this and raved about it. Who would have thought that fried fish and chips at an Italian restaurant could be so good?

“When the lead waiter is unfriendly...”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

We went to Rollatini's in Feb 2014. The lead waiter(? - he took our order and brought the check) was about as friendly as a wet mop. No smile and when we were not ready to order, he walked away. We felt rushed when we did order as he made no attempt to tell us what vegetables were available until we asked and he acted like "take it or leave it". That was all we saw of him until he just dumped the check on the table when we were done (never asked about dessert). The place was not full so there wasn't even that for an excuse.

The other "sub-waiters" brought the food and they were friendly asking if everything was OK. Unfortunately, they were not particularly good. When one empties one's glass, one should be asked if one is interested in more. I had to ask for a refill of my soft drink. When it came to cleaning the table, the sub-waiter piled all the dishes right in front of the other guy with us. And I mean piled! Then when he tried to put the silverware on top, a knife fell off right onto the guy's lap. Not competent service.

The food is typical NYC Italian with a thick red sauce made from puree. It was quite good. We all had the "special" [garlic knots, soup or salad, choice of entree, choice of vegetable, pasta or potato plus soft drink or coffee or iced tea] for $15 cash or $16 credit card. I had the sausage and peppers with a side of spinach which should have been hotter. The sausage was sliced too thin and then overcooked so it tasted flavorless even with the decent tomato sauce. She had the cheese ravioli with the spinach. The ravioli was good. Our friends both has the chicken parmigiana with pasta and both the chicken and the pasta were very generous portions. They were both pleased.

This place definitely could have been a five but with such disappointing service and the failure of the lead waiter(?) to really try to communicate or show we were important as customers as well as the issues with my meal, I feel a three is justified. Perhaps if we go back, it might all be different.

The decor in the place is what I would call "Italian modern" - something like you would see on a Restaurant Impossible makeover. Simple, no "personality", "Italian" only in that some cabinets above the service area were painted in Red and green with a white area between (colors of Italian flag).

“Excellent Italian Food”
Reviewed 1 February 2014

This evening we went to Rollatini with 15 people. We all were very happy with our meals. Not only was the food excellent, it was served piping hot. The service left nothing to be desired. The entire wait staff was friendly and professional. We all highly recommend this restaurant and will return every chance we get.
