If you're walking round Lake Mirror, don't miss Hollis Garden -- but don't make a special journey to find it. There are very nice plants and flowers, some decent statuary, and pleasant music. What there isn't is much of anything. Think of this as a pleasant formal garden, rather than a botanical treat, and you won't be disappointed. It is sad that closing time seems to be well before sundown, I think this would be a more special test in the early evening.
