“Great Attraction For the Family”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

This is a great attraction for the family that tells the history of aviation all over the world as well as the United States and Florida. They have many exhibits and interactive flight simulators. It is fun for young and old alike. the prices are also reasonable.

“Hidden Gem - Great for kids”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Our family visited this past weekend. Our 2 yr old twins loved it because as soon as we got out of the car, there were half a dozen airplanes they could walk up to and touch. It's not too often a toddler can reach up and touch the bottom of an airplane. Outside was a F-14, a big 727 FedEx jet and some other planes -- no barriers or "do not touch" signs.... just let the kids wander, explore and touch. Awesome place.

Then inside is a bit more museum'ish with probably 15-20 planes. There is one small plane with a big sign that says "please climb on me" where the kids could climb up and sit in the cockpit. It had a stick so the kids could throw it left and right and the ailerons would move -- very cool.

All in all it was well worth the $10 adult ticket with the kids being free. Best part was the hands-on for the kids.

Easy to get to but previous advertising sites showed prices had increased considerably. Still well worth a visit.

“Fun Saturday trip to Lakeland”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

We flew up to Lakeland and had breakfast at what was the Runway Grill. Afterwards we had taxied over to the museum and paid $10 (kids under 5 free) to get in. The museum is small but interesting with simulators, planes and stuff for the kids to climb on. I enjoyed reading the exhibit on Howard Hughes.
