“Quaint”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

We bought a Groupon for this museum. So it was $5 a person. I think if I had paid the full admission price I may have felt a little cheated. It was...cute. Very small and the few interactive items they had were very outdated. Also, there are parts of the museum that are closed on the weekends. Seems odd to me. I think if you stopped in when you were attending Sun ,'n Fun, it would be fine. We drove an hour to get here and it took under 45minutes to look at everything. We made the best of it and hit Bok Tower Gardens after. I recommend this if you are into aviation, as a side trip to another destination.

“Great museum!”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

I took my 5 year old on a whim to see some aviation history. The museum features an indoor hangar facility that house a lot of different exhibits based on aviation. There was even a little plane that kids could climb into and control the yoke and rudder pedals. For old kids and adults there is a computer simulator to try your hand at flying. Outside there were a few good static displays including an F-14 and a Fedex Boeing 727-200 freighter. My daughter enjoyed seeing the different aircraft and had a great time. Overall I would recommend this museum.

“Visited during the sun 'n fun airshow”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We visited during the sun 'n fun airshow and had a great time. We recommend the preferred seating next to the Announcer's Stand. They had benches in the shade and lots of chairs with restrooms nearby and a few tents to sit under. You get an armband for seating so you can come and go as you want. The blue angels had a fantastic performance. You really have to be there to feel the power of these planes which was awesome. The best part was when the planes flew up behind the announcers stand and we didn't hear them until they were right overhead. The entrance is away from the aircraft but near other exhibits that did not interest us. We got lost trying to find our way to the announcers stand even with maps in hand. Would recommend if you are a first time visitor like we were that you try to find out where everything is located before you arrive or plan to spend 2 days to see it all. The access to see aircraft and talk to pilots and mechanics was incredible. You could ask any questions and learn so much from them. The sound system was hard to understand and we were really close to it. When we drove up, we could see many planes flying overhead. Parking was easy for us but it was on the grass which was no problem because it didn't rain.

“Great Attraction For the Family”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

This is a great attraction for the family that tells the history of aviation all over the world as well as the United States and Florida. They have many exhibits and interactive flight simulators. It is fun for young and old alike. the prices are also reasonable.
