Although the halls and room smelled of state cigarette smoke, for the price, this was a good hotel. The beds were great, the TV great, as well as having FREE WIFI throughout hotel, a TV and microwave! I think that the carpets need to be replaced throughout the hotel, especially in the rooms...this would help the smoke smell! The breakfast wasn't bad...I mean, its FREE..and it is ORLANDO area...so it was fine... Very nice front desk staff as well and I was able to get a late check out as well. Our phone in the room didn't work but that didn't matter...Who uses hotel phones anymore? I would stay here again.
You could have a great experience here or a bad one--probably depends on which room you happen to get, so the trick is to make sure to check in early and have your pick. The front desk staff are all very helpful and nice and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. My room was fantastic--everything worked great, huge comfortable bed, fridge and micro, flat screen TV with lots of channels, free wifi, nice white fluffy towels, and high quality toiletries including lotion and conditioner. The pool is large and the fitness center is open 24 hours (but the elliptical machine in there was awful, really didn't work). Very nice lobby area with public computer and ATM. This is a conference center as well and there seem to be a lot of big events and parties booked meaning that many of the guests are loud, drunk, and raucous. If their rooms are near yours, this may make for a less pleasant stay.
The breakfast is terrible--just bread, waffle makers, and two kinds of cereal. But this hotel is convenient to everything you could possibly want, so just go somewhere else for breakfast!
Very disappointed the noise at night was frightening. All night parties . TV on loud until 3 am
Breakfast very poor. Plastic utensils toast and porridge
We ate out
Moved rooms once , but made no difference. Large party of folk staying there and working in the area
Ramada did yourself no favours, they were happy to refund 50%. I would have been happy not to stay there
Worst experience ever, stayed over for one night 2013 Christmas (booked 3 nights), the hotel had over 20-30 some kind of "workers" staying there. We were in 2nd floor and the first thing is dark and the cigarette smell.
The matter is not noisy or clean or things work or not, we didn't feel "safe". After 4am-5am, it was quite and later i was told the 2nd day that the police came and took few of them out.
the breakfast was awful too, first thing i did was to talk with the staff and told them we are moving out. they agreed to charge for one night and let us go (later i thought about it and i should not even pay them 1st night but we were on vacation to legoland and i really didn't have time to argue with them)...
again worst experience ever
