“No Great Shakes Here”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

The best part of this restaurant is the beautiful view of Bell Lake, in Land O Lakes. The service is fine, the food OK (nowhere near great), portions are big, and although they have a huge bar; the drinks were not all that good either. I have given 3 chances, as it is new, but no improvement has been made.

“Not worth stopping by.”
Reviewed 22 March 2013

Food: Steak has no taste, could not eat without A1, Baby Back Ribs were hard and did not fall of bone also not very tasty, Onion rings very grease, We wanted hot tea with lemon and received no spoon had to stir with knife. Utensils also .not very clean had to wipe. Grouper Nuggets appetizer was fantastic!!!!!!!
The interior is very poor, no floors just painted concrete, when sat in the booth could feel the wood underneath, moved to a table.
Overall it looked good with the amount of cars parked, I guess there is no where else to go here.
We stopped by since we were here about 2 years age when it was called Raspolinies( or something similar). Do not recommend if you want to have a good tasting dinner. Lots of people by the bar drinking and very little eating, now we know why.

“Loving the new vibe and menu!”
Reviewed 12 February 2013

I have visited the new Mosquito Grill and Bar (formerly Rapscallions) several times in the past couple of weeks -- once for a fun girls night out, once for dinner with the family and again to check out their new brunch. I have to say that I am very impressed with all of the improvements that have been made since the restaurant changed ownership. The menu offers a variety of new and interesting appetizers and entrees, and the overall atmosphere looks outstanding. The decor has been completely updated, making the restaurant a new hotspot for Land O' Lakes. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food, service and a fun atmosphere overlooking a beautiful lake.

“New Look”
Reviewed 13 January 2013

This place just changed management, and it needs to get its act together. The food was average. The wooden deck out back has a good view and is in good shape, but they need to put in some bug-zappers or something 'cause we got eaten up by mosquitoes. How ironic!

“Not so great....”
Reviewed 7 January 2013

We went to the Mosquito grill...ok the names bad enough, their logo has a mosquito sticking his needle in a big red O in the name, just what I want to see when Im going to eat..anyway..we gave it a second chance since the first time was not so good but in fairness they had just changed hands from Rapscallions. This time, it was a Sunday about 1pm, they have a brunch ..it was not that busy ..maybe 1/3 rd full..live music which was a bit loud, it took a while for us to get someone to take drink orders, took even longer to get drinks..then a wait to put in order..then we waited for food...and waited ...and waited..finally...we got a Philly cheesesteak for $8.99.. dry bread & steak and cheese and some fries.Left the bread , ate the rest. Buffalo shrimp,$9.99..5 breaded, sauced shrimp and dipping sauce and for 8.99 a cup of chili and 1/2 a turkey sandwich The turkey sandwich was advertised as sliced turkey with cheese, it looked like thin sliced deli meat cut into little squares and heated on grill, and it had no taste , it did come with tomato and shredded lettuce. I had to ask for condiments ..again. The chili was thick and spicey, not bad. I cannot recommend going to this restaurant..maybe over time they will improve on service and food..but I think the logo says it all...they will suck your money for little in return...
