Great food, view and service! The staff truly cares. We ate downstairs outside for a late lunch. Neat spot with local boaters coming in from their day on the water. The ambience and view from upstairs was awesome. Best dining experience of the trip

“Yummy lobster tacos!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

We stopped here for lunch while exploring Long Boat Key on a rainy day. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The owner stopped by our table to make sure we were pleased. We enjoyed lobster tacos, lobster rolls, lobster bisque and corn chowder.

“Real nice”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 via mobile

This was a great stop . The wait is fairly long but you can get on a call ahead up to a week before your dinner night . We all had Chilean sea bass and it was one of the best I have ever had. Wait staff was on their game. Price is a little steep but worth a stop when in the area. Nice job guys!

This restaurant is great if you are a fish and seafood lover. The crab cakes are delicious....basically all crab!!!! Great views from the 2nd floor. This restaurant does not take reservations but you can call up to a week ahead and get on their priority list.

“Best food”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

We found this place advertised in one of the table books where we were staying in Siesta Key. Put the address into the GPS and it took us over some small waterways, past shops and some fantastic homes. It was well worth the trip, 15 minutes or so really, not so far away.

We had our choice of sitting dock side, covered but open walled section or the enclosed air conditioned area. The view of the waterways are nice. I would say, probably terrific at night with the city lights in the background. The rooms were very nicely decorated.

I had the spicy crab and corn chowder and my wife had the New England Fish Chowder. Both were super, very tasty, very fresh.

For lunch I had the Grouper Taco platter, while my wife had the Shrimp Taco platter. The fish was very fresh and delicious. They were served with black beans and rice. Price each was under $20.00. It was a great price for a great meal.

The service was very attentive. Always asking if we needed anything or more water.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area, you will not be disappointed. I would return there tomorrow.
