I would not recommend for anybody to eat/visit this restaurant. The food was not good at all The staff was nowhere to be found our waiter never came back to check on us until he gave us our bill. You cant trust the staff or the patrons beings that my brand new camera was stolen. Hope whoever did it chokes to death the next time they eat out.

We visited the Brown Boxer , which is a sports bar at the height of tropical storm Debby. We had dropped in earlier to make sure the England football game was being shown as we had to walk about 1/2 a mile from our accomodation.
Arriving absolutely soaked we were made welcome by staff and locals alike, and even given a towel to dry off. We were fortunate that happy hour ( 3 til 7 ) coincided with the game. Different offers were available but pints of S / Adams were $ 1.50. The bar is reasonably new and well laid out with plenty of screens for those sports orientated, with a choice of pub games in the rooms to the side. It also has a decking outside with plenty of tables ,chairs and sun canopies , this area being open to the bar.
Sarah looked after us throughout and held a genuine conversation with us remembering all sorts of quirky comments. We had a meal which was typical pub fayre but hot and appetising plus reasonably priced.
Thanks' must go out to Sarah, who the end of her shift and although she had only just met us,drove us back to our accomodation as the rain was still cascading down and taxi's were nowhere to be seen!

My wife and I went to the Brown Boxer for a late lunch. We sat at the bar, which is open to the outside, which makes it a great place to enjoy our Florida weather. The bartender was very friendly and served us quickly. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to get anything we asked for in condiments. There was a women bartender there, also and she was checking on us through out our visit. They worked well as a team. The burgers were cooked the way we asked and the fries were hot and crisp. This is where we will go for burgers from now on. Thank you to all at the Brown Boxer.

The food was excellent and affordable priced. Definitely not a romantic styled restaurant, more like a sports bar with pool tables. While the food was reasonable, the call drinks were pricey (even on Happy Hour). Stick with beer or well and you should be able to have a good time without breaking the bank. There is outside seating and you can also eat where the pool tables are.

Definitely try the french dip! It was stuffed full of lean meat and the au jus was delicious. Also great was the pizza sticks. Enough to share but you won't want to.

We will definitely be back.
