“Great Water view and nice beach!”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

This was a one night stop on the way to our vacation destination. This is an older hotel but our room was updated and had a tile floor which I liked. Our bed was comfortable but the sleep sofa was not for my adult daughter. The beach was clean and not too busy, nice pool and the view was great. There is no continental breakfast. The office is a separate building out front which was no problem. There are many shops and restaurants within a comfortable walking distance. I would stay again.

We spent one night here and glad we only did that. It was very small the second bedroom had a curtain to separate the room from living room. The carpets are very old and there was a huge gap under the front door. The beach was very nice and the the walk was nice. The pool was good but really warm but cant complain it was 102 degrees outside! I wont stay there again but it was fine for the one night.

excellent clean, comfortable rooms overlooking an uncrowded beach with a pool and palm covered tables outside for a little privacy. Our mini fridge, microwave, mini kitchen and other amenities made this a perfect spot for my wife and our two sons to "land" when we weren't on the beach or in town seeing the sights or catching up with family. The proprietors were laid back, helpful intuitive. We have stayed on many beaches in condos and houses, but this was by far the most enjoyable for ease and beauty. Parking was ample, a cart and elevator helped get us settled and off to the sand. And the price, believe it or not, better than the sites blocks from the beach! We will be back.

Room Tip: Our room with the queen bed and pull out sofa sleeper had a nice ornamental half height wall between...

We spent two fantastic nights at this hotel. The accommodation were superb: the bed was fantastic; the mini-kitchen was all we could ask for (for snacks and beverages - WOW!). The access to the beach and pool area was really convenient. To help out with getting settle in - the elevator was a big help, although, to stay fit, the stairs were also very convenient. A nice perk, was the water spigot at the path to the beach area.. It helped a lot with not having to track a lot of sand back to the room. The office staff was always there and very helpful with suggestions for local places to have breakfast, etc. Graham and Cindy were especially helpful! If you need a couple of days to get away from it all - this is the place to go - John's Pass is nearby with all the shops you would care to visit for souvenirs, etc. Bubba Gump's - yum -yum!

Room Tip: Higher room on the beach side give an excellent view of the surrounding beach area and specially the...

After doing my research online, I booked a beach view studio - and it was the best decision I could have made. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights mid-August. Beaches were NOT crowded, the water was clear and the beaches were so clean. There is the soft sand, without tons of sharp shells, so walking barefoot was wonderful. We easily walked to John's Pass - a nearby boardwalk and shopping area that had wave runner rentals, parasailing, fishing, and lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was amazing. If you get beachfront, ask for the second floor or higher, so you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets from your balcony. There is an elevator if needed. There is a laundry and ice machine. They don't come in and make your bed or clean your room, but if you need clean towels, extra shampoo or dish soap - you simply leave a note and the dirty towels in your basket outside your door each morning, and when you come back, you'll have a basket full of fresh stuff. It worked really well for us - and we always had plenty of towels (room comes with towels for bathroom, when you check in you can also request beach towels, as they ask that you not take the bathroom towels down to the beach) The studio is meant for 2 people, but if you're close friends (or have 2 kids) the pull out couch is very comfortable, and can easily sleep 2 more. The ONLY thing that I could think about that wasn't perfect - the TV is on the wall across from the pull out couch, not the bed. I like to fall asleep to the TV, but it was actually nice to turn the TV off and go to bed. In the morning when we wanted to watch tv from bed, we simply pulled the couch out, and it was comfortable enough (I actually fell asleep there the last night and had a great nights sleep - just as nice as the bed) The air conditioning was quiet and cold. The other rooms had guests, but there was zero noise. The pool was clean. There was no toys or chairs available - but you can rent chairs on the beach from a private company (save your money - you'll spend most of the time in the water, or walking the beach - no need for a chair and umbrella !) We will be going back as often as possible. The front desk was always helpful - even figured out a way to print my boarding pass for me when it was time to leave. No complaints - I am planning on coming and bringing my kids !! (oh, and there is a volleyball net too !)

Room Tip: Higher floors on the beach side will have the best views of the sunset. There is an elevator, and y...

Got a brilliant deal on Trivago. Stayed 6 nights in a beach view studio. Location is excellent. Hotel is clean, pool is kept clean and tidy. Use of chairs and umbrellas etc left by other guests on a first come basis is a good idea. We left our chairs and brolly. The beach view studios are really two people, four would be a squeeze. My only minor crit is a small handheld vacuum to get rid of sand would be handy. Much as you try to knock the sand off it does get everywhere. Really near to St John Pass.

Room Tip: Pool view bigger, sea view nicer.

My wife and I stayed for three nights mid week. With only about 50 total rooms, no crowds. Clean, comfortable rooms with balconys overlooking the beach. Most parking is covered. Beach chairs, toys and umbrellas are provided (free) on a first come basis. The hotel is a short walk from John's Pass, plenty of little shops and restaurants. Seabreeze Grill was by far the best place we ate, just few miles north on Gulf Blvd.
