The beach was beautiful and there are even life jackets available for children to borrow at the beach entrance along with a machine that washes your feet. My difficulty was with the parking lot. First you park and then you pay and put the ticket in your car window. However, the machine would not accept my credit card (the slot was too thin for my card) and then it only took exact change so be sure to have exactly $8. The beach has many shells and the beach itself is wide. The water was beautiful and pleasantly warm. My teens played for hours. Be sure to bring everything you need with you- umbrella, (it's hot!) drinks, etc. as there are not any places to purchase or rent these items.
