“Excellent Resort”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

I stayed here for 5 days with my wife. What a wonderful resort. Marco Island is beautiful and the location of this hotel is great. The beach is simply gorgeous and the water is unbelievably warm. Beach towels and lounge chairs are free but I highly recommend renting an umbrella ($18 for the day) as the sun is very strong. It's money well spent. There also is a very nice pool on the premises that got a little noisy on the weekend with all the children but still was nice to take a dip in.

There are 3 restaurants on the property and the food is very good. The Paradise Cafe has a breakfast buffet that I highly recommend as well as an all you can eat seafood buffet on Friday night that was very good.

The room was more than adequate and clean. Try and get a room on an upper floor with a view of the beach if you can. However, you won't be spending too much time in your room as there is plenty to do on Marco Island.

The entire staff was extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help you out anyway they could.

This is as close as you're going to get to being on a Caribbean island and still be in the US. I would go back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this hotel and Marco Island you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Rooms on the NW side of the hotel will get a beautiful view of the beach and the sunset.

This was our first time going to Marco Island. We were told by many people to stay at the Mariott, however, once we saw how crowded the Mariott was we were glad we stayed at the Hilton. The parking at the Mariott was across the street and it was very tough to find a parking spot.
The Hilton was very quiant and not too big or crowded. The parking lot had enough spots so you weren't waiting for people to leave. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The Hilton's staff was very nice and very helpful in telling us about things to do around Marco and surrounding areas.
The pool was very well kept, and they had movies on Saturday at night for kids. The beach was great! The complimentary chairs and towels were a nice touch. The dolphin catamaran trip was a good way to end our trip. It had passengers on it from the other hotels on the island. The only bad parts of the catamaran trip was the heat that day and the unrealistic hype of the boat ride. We saw some dolphins, then went to see a manatee that was mostly an underwater shadow, and then we went shelling at Cape Romano. The shelling there was alright. It was hyped up to be amazing shells, but really it was what you could find on the shore at the Hilton. If you have young kids, I would reccomend going on a day not so hot. Everyone was cramming under the small roof on the boat because of the 100 degree weather.
The food at the Hilton was ok. The paradise café was disappointing. It was quite expensive and being it was at the hotel we thought it would have better food quality. The Tiki Hut by the pool had lunch foods (sandwiches, fruit, flatbreads, etc.) and it was pretty good, but sometimes expensive. We ate outside of the hotel for dinner. The restaraunts we went to were very good! Divinci's and Arturo's were great for Italian at Marco Island. Barbatella's and Ridgway were also very good if you go Naples.
There is a small mall across the street from the Hilton with shoppes and restaraunts. It was nice to be able to walk there instead of dribing everywhere. If you like shopping the Miromar outlets are not far north of Marco Island. They are very nice and have a lot of stores.
The spa at the Hilton was very nice inside! They had a lot of options on their spa menu. The outdoor jacuzzi and open-6pm access was a good offer. All in all it was a very good trip. It was nice to have that tropical feel and not have to leave the country.

Great experience at this hotel with family and friends. Best option when visiting Marco Island....you have the beach steps away from your room. Several rental options available for water fun. Restaurant with good menu options including buffet for lunch, dinner and breakfast.....

Just stayed here over the weekend. Nice resort right on the beach, family had a great time. I am a Hilton Honors Member so I am a little biased towards Hilton's but I'll be as fair as possible here. The good: nice rooms (make sure to book a Gulf view room, the view from the second floor towards the trash compactor wasn't that great)...the rooms themselves are very spacious, and overall clean (some stains in the shower curtain but that was about it). 3 Restaurants on premises and a few around the island within 2 miles. Of course room service until 11 (but be ready to pay...I had breakfast for 2 adults and a child and paid over $65). Tried one of the restaurants Paradise Cafe for dinner and the prices were ok, the place itself was ok and the service was ok. Free beach towels and 4 chairs at the beach was nice. Great guest service, very friendly staff. The not so good: the pool seems to be too small for the amount of rooms the resort has, it was always packed...finding parking on your own is tough; we opted to pay $14 for valet since self parking was $10 and like I said depending on the time of the day hard to find. There were no microwaves in the rooms. Free wifi only in the lobby. If you are a light sleeper, hmm well the air was very loud every time it came on, and we could hear the elevator all night. I sleep like a rock so it didnt bother me.
Overall a very nice hotel, not perfect but nice. I would come back and would recommend. Marco Island was beautiful. I must say though the Marriot looked very nice from the outside, bigger with a Hawaiian flavor to it. But I like Hiltons :)

I've stayed at a lot of hotels on business and traveling with my husband. This was a fun get-away with my gal-pals and it was AMAZING. Service was exceptional, amenities were fabulous and the beach at sunset certainly did not disappoint!

Hotel Hilton in Marco Island is an excellent hotel in a paradise. The hotel has comfortable rooms, two restaurants, a piano bar, a pool with a bar and the beach. For me the best beach with calm and warm waters. The sunset is spectacular. In front of the hotel there is a plaza with lot of good restaurants. I will recommend this hotel to everybody.

I grew up on the West Coast of Florida, but had never been to Marco Island. My husband and I decided to make the trip for my birthday, and we are so glad we did! Marco Island is a less crowded, less touristy, more quainter, cuter version of crowded beaches like Clearwater & St. Pete. Marco has a lot to offer - from parasailing to paddleboarding to exploring the surrounding "10,000 islands." I love it's proximity to the Everglades and Indian Reservations, and how Marco has preserved a lot of Old Florida's tropical beauty.

As for the Hilton Hotel - it was beautiful, clean, and everything we look for in a beachfront hotel. A boardwalk led straight from one of the elevators straight to the beach. The sand was powder soft and full of collector worthy seashells. Beach chairs are complimentary; umbrellas are available for rent. The pool was nice and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is delicious and I highly recommend that as a start to your day! The Sandcastles Lounge had a nice 2 for 1 happy hour from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but the Friday night Seafood Buffet looked amazing.

When you make your reservation over the phone, Yareli in in-house reservations at the hotel is FANTASTIC. She made our stay wonderful before we even arrived - I hope this review reaches to her and that she gets commended for her outstanding customer service.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.
