Hi Chris , you posted a 1 star review for this food place ? You see the owner 'Martina' left the building for 5 mins because someone was having a heart attack out on the sand. Sorry you had to spend your $12 somewhere else. Let's hope if anyone is having medical issues, people will prioritize on saving a life instead of making a profit on flipping your burger . Sorry but shame on trip advisor for even posting such a ridiculous post.
The food and staff here are awesome ! Locals come here for the famous veggie wrap ! Keep doing what you're doing Martina ! You do a wonderful job !

we had an awesome walk out to nearly the end of the tail, the ocean colors were amazing --- a few packed supplies and (sadly) a selfie.

One visit of this place is all you need if you dont mind walking. Split chicken fingers with my husband at the cafe on the way in. They were decent. We had to wade through the water to get to the shells. That was the fun part, i screamed the whole way . We went at lunch so we probably missed all the sand dollars but still found some neat shells.

Hey SoutharnBelle , This account is specific to our food Cafe , we're glad you enjoyed your chicken :)
There are two other alternatives to reaching the outside of the park and now there's an extra boardwalk constructed to the south end of the park , this makes it only 1/8 of a mile to the surf , please stop in at the rental but and we'll show you all the best ways.
It's fun crossing the lagoon though :)
Hope to see y'all again soon ,

We had a late lunch and went there because we had read such good reviews. The people working there were friendly. The hamburgers, however, were not as good as fast food, and the waffle fries seemed to have been refried or warmed over. We had 2 hamburgers and 2 teas and the tab was about $26. Maybe the food is fresher right at lunch time. I hate to sound negative, but the food was just not good.

The setting was nice and peaceful and right at a beautiful public beach. You do have to pay to park ($3, I think). The pkg attendant was very nice and helpful.

Hi Becky , We're so sorry your food wasn't as good as fast food . We cook our burgers on a gas grill over lava rocks, fast food is cooked in a microwave. Sometimes though it depends what you're used to eating I guess.
We use 80/20 Angus beef for the flavor and fresh vegetables too.
Obviously I'm very disappointed in this review and hope you give us another chance on your next visit to the park.
The Tea comes from England.
Please ask for Me next time :(

I was very impressed by the fresh & healthy options at this beachside cafe. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The Bodington's, and wines weren't so bad either ;) YUM!
