“Fun and somewhat different Farmer's Market”
Reviewed 7 November 2012

This was held on a Wednesday morning starting at 7 am, and was really fun. We live in Northwest Colorado, so it's fun to find a different regional farmer's market. Great tomatoes, watermelon, pineapples, vegetables and food vendors representing Southern FL. Bought some guacamole, homemade salad dressing, paella, gourmet mac and cheese with lump crabmeat and german bakery items. Very casual, surprisingly affordable (for Marco Island) with no admission charge. It's a little hard to find (behind the McDonald's in a park), but find the McDonald's coming into Marco Island and make a left hand turn at the stoplight and you're there. Highly recommended.

“the highlight of a Marco Island vacation”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

We look forward to Wednesday mornings when we stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables and even bagels at the Marco Island Farmers' Market. Visiting from Canada, it is a real treat in February and March to be able to buy, direct from the farmers, tomatoes, onions, corn on the cob, strawberries, and, of course, oranges and grapefruits. The Market is much more than fruit and vegetables with many other fresh items from kettle corn to shell fish. Many none food items are also available including jewelry, fair trade baskets and photography. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the weather invariably is what one would expect in paradise. Parking is plentiful with the church across the street allowing overflow into its parking lot.
