We were greeted at the door by Konrad for an 8:00 reservation and immediately seated at our choice between a table or booth. The ambiance and decor is OK. There is ample room between tables.
We ordered the surf and turf, sea bass, and the duck. This was a Tuesday so, Duck is on the special. They ran out of goulash so only one of us was able to have it. The rest of us had mushroom soup or salad.
The goulash was excellent- one could order a bowl and have a nice meal of it. The salad includes a little German Potato salad- a nice touch. The mushroom soup is a sweet interpretation.
The duck portion is comprised of a leg, thigh, 1/2 breast and wing. You wont go hungry! They are known for the duck.
The surf and turf is also a large meal. The lobster tail was very good but IMO the filet was too strong of flavor possibly being aged too long. Mind you still a good piece of meat and at a very good price.
The presentation of these dishes was a cluttered plate BUT again, you wont go hungry.
The Sea Bass was EXCELLENT an ample portion that melts in your mouth. Quite possibly the best sea bass I have ever tasted. The presentation was also excellent.
Desert was Key Lime pie presentation and taste will also not disappoint. Portion is small.
Service was very good, no rush with good suggestions.
Dinner for 4 totaled $114.
