“Brilliant relaxing getaway in a stunning location”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

we enjoyed a short break at Tidelands and from the moment we arrived we started to relax. The scenery is breathtaking and the boathouse nestles on the estuary with stunning views on 3 sides. Liz was very accommodating as we were delayed in traffic and waited to greet us, and was on call if needed for anything, but was not intrusive.Property very high spec and clean. easy access to local pubs just minutes away, both with excellent food and ambience. would definitely recommend. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and chilled out in such a short time.

“The perfect holiday”

We have just arrived back from our second stay at the Tidelands Boathouse and it was as beautiful as we remembered it to be. It is set a very peaceful and tranquil location, and the accommodation itself is very clean and homely. The Boathouse looks out to stunning views (we personally don't think the photos do them justice!) and Liz is always very welcoming and hospitable. The Coombe Cellars pub is located just a few minutes away and is perfect for an afternoon drink or an evening dinner.

We plan to come back again next year as it truly does provide the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday!

We made a late booking on this lovely property for christmas day and boxing day. Wonderful views, great walks, pubs nearby, fab facilities in lovely boathouse. Liz was very welcoming and even left us a christmas present, most unexpected and very pleasant surprise.

Really glad you had such a good Christmas despite the horrendous storms we had! It certainly proves the boathouse is a great location any time of the year, whatever the weather.
Many thanks for your wonderful review.

“Terrific Tidelands”

Just returned from a fabulous getaway for our 48th wedding anniversary at Tidelands, set in beautiful surroundings with first class accommodation. Liz was there to greet us and show us her stylish and well equipped boathouse. Everything we needed was there including the most comfortable bed where we could lie and look at the river. We had the most delicious meal at the local pub - Coombe Cellars. We just wanted to stay for longer but had to leave this little bit of heaven, but will certainly be returning next year.

Thank you for your great review of the boathouse and very glad you enjoyed your wedding anniversary here. The boathouse is being redecorated at the moment with a new patio area outside so hope you will come back for another romantic getaway!

“Perfect in every way!”
Reviewed 14 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Just back from our first visit to Tidelands and am sure it won`t be our last! The riverside setting is pure paradise and the property is a credit to the owner Liz - very comfortable, spotlessly clean and makes the perfect relaxing getaway for 2. Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, this one is at the top of our list.
