“Very well tended”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

Very well tended 18 hole golf course that I believe was designed by Gary Player. There's a nice club house and bar for lunch or dinner, a driving range and putting green. The course is pretty challenging (so bring extra balls), and the greens and fairways are pretty much always in excellent shape. There is quite a bit of water and sand traps. Once in awhile you'll even see a gator hanging around by the lakes.

“One of the best courses in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2013

A challenging golf course from any of the tees. A Gary Player signature course. A bit pricey. Batyree has a very nice clubhouse, restaurant/bar, driving range, and putting green. Many well designed holes. Pretty surroundings. The only negative I saw was the overall course maintenance is rather spotty, meaning it does not have that "trimmed and clipped" look that a higher end daily fee course should present. Staff is friendly and helpful and overall is a very nice course. Will return again.

“Great track poorly managed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2013 via mobile

Had the first time this Saturday morning and made the turn in an hour and a half at one under. Fun track, greens a little rough, but nice layout. Then come to find they started a tournament ahead of us on the back nine and it took an hour fifteen to play three holes with two group waiting on every tee box. Waited every shot. Who does this? No sight of any ranger. We quit after twelve.

This is the kind of management style that courses seem to be adopting these days. All about revenue and forget about the spirit of the game. You sold yourself short, shame on you! Won't come back.

“A nice challenge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 January 2013

One of my favorite local golf courses is called Baytree National. It is quite a challenging course and a nice facility. You end up using all the clubs in your bag. It has more elevations than most Florida courses, which adds to its attraction. I warmly recommend it.

“Staff need to learn how to dress appropriately.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2012

Had a terrible experience here. Waited way too long to play our round. They should tell you to pack your own cooler because you hardly see the cart girl. No food. We played a Friday after a comp and never again. Pro shop staff just ok, bar staff rude, need to learn how to dress and pay attention all the guys in the bar not just a few when it's time to refill drinks. She was a very rude lady who needs to learn some manners and dress for work, not the beach. Don't go here till they clean the place up , course and staff.
