Our party of 3 stopped in for drinks and a light dinner at the bar. It took quite a while to be noticed by the bartenders despite our efforts to get their attention. Service was then adequate and friendly but not stellar. Martini's were the special and only $5 all night ~ several variations were ordered and all were good. The red wine was also very good but pricey.

We were prepared for a limited bar menu of 8 items but the lack of flatbread in the kitchen was a big disappointment and reduced it down to only six. The Garlic Dijon Shrimp was our favorite with tender shrimp and bold flavors. The Kobe Beef Sliders were also tasty. The Savory Satay Chicken Skewers were far from savory ~ just pale chunks of unseasoned cooked chicken with dipping sauces on the side... I will avoid this dish in the future.

None of our group are fondue-junkies but we expected to enjoy drinks and nibbles at the bar more than we did. We won't be rushing back to the Melting Pot but will probably give it another chance in the future.

The Melting Pot has various dining setting options, a private room for a large gathering, or couple's area which they call "Lovers Lane" Several nook type areas for about 6 to 12 people, and they have the typical booth and bar seating locations as well. The lighting is just dim enough for good atmosphere yet lit enough you can see each other and your food. Of course the meat vegs, etc you cook to your own liking as this is all about frying in whatever you desire as this is all about Fondue ! I love the cheese mixes and the different types of breads and vegs & mexican chips to dip in it ! Even though we are very full we always have the dessert plate with various kinds chocolate to dip them in ( we chooses different ones on each visit) Clean, good waiters, good atmosphere, great place to take a date, spouse, or a visiting guess. You can tailor your visit with a four-course dining experience including cheese fondue, salad, entree and dessert. Or, just for fondue cheese with a glass of wine from their extensive selection. Personally it is a little expensive but you are paying for what you are getting which is an excellent dining experience...

I would recommend going here for dessert; it's delicious! Both chocolate and cheese fondues available. It is on the more expensive side, so beware. Dinner is a little different though. You are given a hot bowl of oil and you are to cook your own meat. This process can take a while, especially if you're hungry and impatient.
