Our party of 3 stopped in for drinks and a light dinner at the bar. It took quite a while to be noticed by the bartenders despite our efforts to get their attention. Service was then adequate and friendly but not stellar. Martini's were the special and only $5 all night ~ several variations were ordered and all were good. The red wine was also very good but pricey.
We were prepared for a limited bar menu of 8 items but the lack of flatbread in the kitchen was a big disappointment and reduced it down to only six. The Garlic Dijon Shrimp was our favorite with tender shrimp and bold flavors. The Kobe Beef Sliders were also tasty. The Savory Satay Chicken Skewers were far from savory ~ just pale chunks of unseasoned cooked chicken with dipping sauces on the side... I will avoid this dish in the future.
None of our group are fondue-junkies but we expected to enjoy drinks and nibbles at the bar more than we did. We won't be rushing back to the Melting Pot but will probably give it another chance in the future.
