I went with two friends last night for drinks and apps at the Red Shoe Lounge. I'd not been there in many years and was quite impressed with the changes made since my last visit. The initial feel when I walked in the door was that I'd stumbled into an upscale but casual bar in some big city. There are a number of comfortable seating areas inside and out. The waitress/bartender Rachel was friendly and prompt. The happy-hour appetizer menu is fairly small (and inexpensive) but the food we tried was very good.
We looked at the menu for the restaurant (which I think must be upstairs) before we left. While the items were pretty pricey, some of them looked very good and we plan on trying some of them the next time we visit. I certainly won't wait long before going again.
