I recently visited this motel during this year's Memorial weekend. I experienced not one problems. The accommodations were great; clean room, clean bathroom, free breakfast, comfortable bed, and the staff (both day time and night time) was awesome and friendly. I will definitely be back, and I definitely recommend it.

Motel! Boutique? I don't think so. It's pretty average. Clean and tidy but far from the 3 stars they claim to have. I'm glad to stay here for 1 night to break a heavy drive between the keys and Orlando but I would not choose it for anything more. Fast wifi though! And the reception chap went the extra mile for us, so funny to say he's the best asset of the place.

On the website this hotel looked great and it was well-priced in the Miami market so we (unfortunately) booked for two nights. It really didn't live up to the promise, at all. The worst thing was the poor state of cleanliness; the bed cover was covered in long black hairs (at least the sheets were clean, I checked!), floors were filthy and the shower had black footprints in it. The housekeeper swept the floors the next morning but the bathroom cleaning was still not great. The air conditioning was so very loud, the choice was between too hot to sleep or too noisy to sleep. The front counter service was not good, no interest in helping us when we asked for restaurant recommendations, and very surly in demanding id, visa etc, as well as a deposit on the key and tv remote. There are signs on the wall for the hotel rules, also very unpleasant in the way they are presented (anything belonings left by guests will be sold after 48 hours, etc), and our door had a handwritten note taped to it saying "check out by 11" when we got up (at 7am) on our final morning, which we found a bit disconcerting.
It is so sad, because the building itself has been renovated niely and has a retro charm, and with a bit more maintenance and some pleasant staff could become a lovely boutique hotel.

Normal rate $ 65 , arrived at 01:00 and had to pay$ 75 plus $10 deposit for the TV remote control. Bathroom very small

No Internet in the room only in the reception. Would rather drive a few minutes more to look for another motel

We are due to stay here 2 nights before a cruise in November. We are writing a pre review based on the last reviewers comments which has worried us. If you are living in Miami why would you stay in a Miami motel or at least why did you not leave if it was so awful??. Could you possible give more detail to the reason why a hotel so near and what the exact problems were? We do not want to stay anywhere that is not acceptable and have the chance to cancel our booking with no cost and would do this if we were sure it is as bad as your statement. Perhaps you took some pictures of the differences to those that are advertised? Also where would we get a lot better?

This is one of the worst places I ever stayed. We booked on booking.com for 160 dollars a night so were expecting something basic but not this basic! We were put in room 9 which is nothing at all like any of the nice pictures on the hotel website. It smelt moldy and musty, the bathroom was dirty (spiders and hairs in the shower) and we were charged a $10 deposit for the TV remote control (like we'd steal it or something?!) The vertical blinds didn't even close properly in the bathroom so we could see out on to the courtyard while standing in the bathroom, the curtail bar in the room was snapped in half, the cleaners were yelling to each other in Spanish from 8 in the morning on both days and the noise from the courtyard went on until about 3 in the morning and it was right outside our room. There are also rooms on the upper level but we didn't fancy dragging 4 heavy cases up the stairs with us for what would probably be a bad room too. We arrived tired (and in a taxi) after a long trans-Atlantic flight and had paid in advance, else we'd have left. Breakfast was donuts, high-sugar yogurt, high-sugar cereal, coffee with powdered (ugh) "creamer" and apples, so we headed to the nearest Denny's on the way out instead to get a decent meal. I'm not sure whether the prices were high because of Spring Break or if they always rip people off that much but the place was worse than some of the hostels I stayed in while backpacking around Asia. I can't think of anything to recommend this place. Even the Burger King across the street was closed down. The staff weren't friendly either. None of them gave us so much as a smile. When we left they didn't ask how our stay was, and the Spanish girl on reception spoke very poor English. I'd suggest you avoid this place like the plague! I am going to attach some pictures so you can see the mold on the walls, the cracking, peeling paint on the walls, and the poor state of the room. We stayed here for a couple nights before a cruise but would never, ever stay again, not even for free.
